this scholarship I received was a communication student assistant position! student assistants on the ship typically work 2 hours per day but for my position I created social media content for sas!

I always thought you just stayed on the ship. I didn't know you had to get a hotel for each country.

How did you get the flights so cheap? Was there a discount from semester at sea? I am planning to go on the spring 2025 voyage and the flights to Thailand right now are $10,000... hahaha so I just want to know if you have any tips or tricks for the flights or if they are included in the tuition!

Always purchase 3-6 months before actual departure date. It shows 10k bc your travel date of to far out 2025.

Hi I am hopefully going spring of 2024, would love it if you could answer my questions. Can you access all Microsoft software e.g. excel while at Sea? How cold do they keep the indoor parts of the boat? Do you turn in assignments online or physical copies? Is there a stapler if you need to turn in a physical copy? How do phone alarms work while at Sea? Are they reliable or not? Thanks

Microsoft software installed on your laptop should be fine as it's not dependent on the cloud to run. If you're logging in to use Office online then it'll be affected by the limited ship wifi
