That was a nice bit of gold . I have a clean up buddy sluice also. The only things I do differently when running my sluice is that I use the mini classifiers to further separate my cons into different mesh classifications to make it easier to get the flour gold........ and also get the magnetite out of the cons before running them.

Next year I would like to get together with you to do a better demonstration of how versatile the gold claw is in removing the black sands. Use it the same way you would when you PAN. Dry with no water, but use water just enough. So that the gold stays at the top wiggled side to side. In the short direction, the black sands will trickle to the bottom. The gold will stay at the top

Yeah, about that but it's not really about the value of the gold. Unlike other hobbies like hiking, bike riding and other sports, gold prospectors come home with something and it adds up over time. I used to be a hiker and after 10 years of hiking I had nothing but after 10 years of gold prospecting...
