I am a forklift technician, so I repair hydraulic systems all the time. You may not like what I'm about to say, but I feel you need to hear it. DO NOT adjust the relief pressure of your hydraulic system above the factory specifications. Those specifications are in place for the safe operation of your equipment. If you adjust them above what is specified, you will see the following issues. 1. Hoses will blow out at a faster rate than normal. 2. Seals inside hydraulic cylinders will fail at a faster rate. 3. Hydraulic pump will fail at a faster rate. These failures are not going to occur when the unit is not in use, they are going to occur when you have that heavy load in the air and the potential for injury is highest. In short doing this is just a bad idea!

John Deere tractors are incredibly conservative from the factory. Hoses are rated for much higher pressures than stock. The same loader is used on the 2025R, which has a bigger pump and higher pressure from the factory.

The set screw of the PRV should turn easily. Don't force it if its hard. Mine was seized up because of paint on the threads and I broke it. Had to disassemble and replace the set screw. I made a video about that and adjusted the pressure. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYXWdnRsodiGgs0
