How much Horsepower does a STOCK Turbo BMW M4 make on E85?

In this video I throw the 2018 BMW M4 on the Dyno for the 3rd Time to see just how much more power and torque the car made. The gains from the Bootmod3 tune are huge. I’ve done autox on e85 it was fun and hit the 1/4 mile. As far as road course track use I haven’t tried e85 because my track don’t have the fuel there and I’d most likely burn a 1/2 tank every session as it is I burn a 1/4 tank every session on track. Also most likely the car would get heat soaked so probably good for two laps if you’re fast. Or a full session if you’re not an experienced track driver.

484Whp and 571Wtq compared to 386Whp and 406Wtq 91 Oct on a very conservative Mustang dyno. Dynojet would read 12% higher

Amazing gains without any exhaust mods. It must suck to only have 91 octane. Here on the east coast we run 93 octane and that makes a difference alone. I'm worried about the long term affects the e85 will have on the injectors. Keep making the very informative videos. I love my F80

Yeah I spun mine at 9K miles on E85. Just a little tho nothing catastrophic. But yes I would highly recommend anyone tuning there F8X to do the crank hub.

@@BlakesGarage yea that seems to be the main culprit fot spinning crank hubs...e85. I have a stage 2 m4 convertible, I'm installing a crank bolt capture plate next week, supposedly thru forums and online resources no one has spun a hub yet.. with the capture. Wish me luck!

@@BlakesGarage the pinned solution is definitely the best in guaranteeing no spun crank hubs but there has been no reports found anywhere online or any forums of people having crank hub issues with the capture plate installed, except when a guy money shifted from 4th to 3rd, that doesn't count tho!

what kinda tire were you running it with that you got 11.3 , I had a tune DP and Exhaust on my M4 went down the track that other day did 12.1 @120 with MDM I didn't do any launch control cause of the wheel spin, I try to just launch the car at sport plus with full traction control off car just goes side ways.... I am impressed how you run e85 were able to launch the car with launch control

The stock continentals, yeah I've always used launch control full traction off sport plus throttle, comfort suspension and a nice burnout before. MDM won't put the power down. Car in MDM feels slow and I even have the Euro MDM mode programed into it.

Because all dynos read differently. Peak Number don’t matter as much as the delta over stock. That’s all dyno calibration and dyno brand.

Only spark plugs were changed and tune. Fuel pump and direct injection can support E85 requirements

@@accord21 Yeah take it off usually. or you can use it additionally to run meth injection in the future. Theres a certain mode for the JB4 that will just turn it off. Talk to F80Paul and he can tune you up and tell you what to do.But BM3 is way better than the JB4.

Blake's Garage I ran 130.1 mph in the quarter on a jb4 and full e85 tune stock cats DCT car. I’m not sure BM3 is a ton better despite what the internet says. That’s easy 10s with traction. Spun the crank hub, so changed platforms.
