Super interesting video Josh....thats for making this and sharing. It looks like fun work, especially if you like to be self sufficient and have time to think about things and not surrounded by a million people.... did you go home at all during the week or do you stay in the truck full time one site? What's your food prep routine? Showers, laundry etc?

@@micaheldred6610 thank you sir I stayed in the truck for the duration Food: gas station burgers if you want a healthier option take off the buns Laundry stock up enough for the week Shower at the truck stop Not as bad as it sounds in all honesty trucks pretty comfortable to sleep in

Those numbers arent bad but thats less than what we were making back in 08-12. Youd think the money would be better almost 20 years later. Doesnt look lkke much has changed up there.

Awesome video! Would it be viable for me, as a 60 year old man, to get my CDL and start working up there? I have over 30 years of delivery driving experience with zero accidents, clean MVR and recent DOT physical. I don't care about holidays a rarely need a day off.

I've been training to haul waterr for the last few days in the bakken. Not teying to discourage anymore, but you need to know you're gonna be a loader/unloader/secretary that drives a truck a little bit throughout the day. You're not gonna be driving that much. At least from what I've seen, so far.

There is a lot of gate keeping in the oilfield. Very hard to get into. You need oilfield experience and already need crude/water hauling experience. 95% of listing won’t take anyone with oilfield experience.

@@BakkenBrotherswas that years ago? Seen the same thing. I’ve been looking in multiple states and almost all of them won’t take anyone without oilfield experience. Hopefully I will be out there in at the end of the year or maybe next year. I do inedible/food grade tanker and besides some extra valves and checking that gauge inside that room you walked into it’s seems similar and not much more work. We use thermaflow hydraulic pumps
