It’s really nice to see a crochet seller be transparent about earnings. Selling on Etsy is time consuming I’m sure and it helps to know the possible returns for that time and work. So thank you!

I'm disabled and it's affected my education system, jobs and lots of future opportunities. I love crocheting and I want to create my own Etsy business to give me a bit of backup. This is so helpful and amazing, thank you.

miss gurl you are amazing. I tried crochet around december last year and miserable failed (but i used a 7mm hook with like 4 ply yarn sooooo) and started around start of feb again. Now i love it and its gotten much easier and really want to sell but i dont think i would get much sales even if i made tik otk because im a slow crocheter and i only can make beanie, cat beanies, beanies for cats, coasters, book covers, and theres some other stuff i havent tried but know i can do it. You are so inspiring and im thinking of starting but obviously its gonna be hard and wool is epensive where i live lol. anyways i love ur channel your crochet is AMAZINGGGG

Hello, I have also wondered about the income for handmade crochet items! This has been on my mind as well as the items that sell excessively😊 as I was considering selling some handmade items myself. I have to refresh myself on crocheting so I am a beginner again (I just came from your 50 crochet projects video😃) Thank you for this video, I admire your transparency🧶🙌

I just found your channel ...🤯🤯 The freaking honesty should win you an award 👏 🙌 ✨️ I personally don't understand why gatekeeping is so bad and secrets within this community..realistically it's greed pure greed and it's disgusting. I get money needs to be made but you can still make it and not be a slime about it. I needed this video so bad so truly thank you. Most of all congratulations on your hard work! Get it!!!

I've had an etsy for a bit, but never have sold anything. Down side to that, I started making presson nails, but got side tracked making my friends and myself some custom ones...then I started cash stuffing, made my own envelopes, have a TON of pretty card stock paper, no cricket to cut words for the envelopes, so that didn't work...lol...I love crocheting and just started listing some of my things on etsy...we shall see. I've sold just at 300 in crocheted items to people on my Facebook though, so that's nice. 😅 this is since starting in Nov. 2022. I've never crocheted before that though. I love watching your videos. You have great ideas and cute products! 💜💜

Thank you! I really love watching people on KZbin. I can't wait to start my channel back up. It was cash stuffing. And we were ahead...but no extra funds. Husband and I had a big decision to make and moved for the 1st time in my life and idk how many moves for him..but it was for a better job. We've been paying double on everything for almost 6 months now trying to sell our old house and having a new one in the new town we moved to. 🙃

I noticed its hard for creatives to price themselves because we tend to undervalue our work. I dont sell any creations yet but my relatives and friends told me that I dont realize that I am doing something not a lot people can do. For me, crochet is a passion and I dont feel like I am working hard while doing it so I feel like what I am doing isnt valuable (society taught us only hard work is valuable, you have to feel tired after a day of working etc ...). So pricing is difficult. Fortunately my brother is an accountant, if I start a crochet business, I will leave it to him to fix the pricing.

OMG!!! Paige, it was such a blessing for me to watch this video. Thank you so very much for being so transparent about the whole business. You have answered all of my questions. I am a “crafter”. I do several things I.e., resin jewelry and accessories, crocheting and canvas art work. I need a partner for the business side because all I want to do is design and create. I would love to talk with you and get your feedback on how to launch my business.

Question … I’ve been considering starting an Etsy but I’ve been worried about not being able to handle everything and make everything by myself , buying yarns , spending hours on each project , I just feel like it might get overwhelming , and tips or did you experience that ? Thanks for this video !!!

Thank you for being so transparent and making this video! I had a question regarding making crochet items based on characters like your anime hats. Can you get in trouble for making things inspired by tv/movies? I heard both ways so I’m confused. Again thank you love your channel ❤
