I spend more on self development than clothing too. You could adjust the amount if you want, but be prepared to invest in yourself is definitely a good thing.
@Donnah19792 жыл бұрын
Yes, but self-development is optional. The most important expenses are the basic ones. After those are paid, people can decide for themselves what they want to spend money on.

You should mention that on top you also have a solid pension scheme - which is very important in the long run. You may want to consider buying an apartment. Prices go up and down, but over time the trajectory is clearly up, so if you plan to stay 6-7 years longer its going to be a great investment.

Clothes or education, whatever make you the most happy. For me, it is saying a lot of the person you are. And that is something positive. I find education more important then clothing.

Turkey is very cheap. Typical hotel room in Fethiye , Alanya, Antalya, Kusadasi, Didim, Bodrum during offseasons , January, February, March, April every year costs 150 tl to 250 tl with best sea view and breakfast at 15 degrees to 18 degrees centigrate during daytime and minus 5 degrees during nighttime with sunshine.

After Oslo, the prices that you mention do not scare me! :) I rent a small 17m2 studio (albeit 20 minutes walk from the city center), and I pay 9000 NOK a month (should be 6600 DKK at the current rate). Also, unless you get sushi (which are quite cheap here because they produce salmon locally), forget about going to the restaurant if you have less than 500-600 NOK available (that is with a drink, which would make around half of your bill, because of alcohol taxes).
@girllovescoding3 жыл бұрын
Wow crazy prices! 😱 But at least you can charge electric cars for free (?) 😅
@user-xr3rb6pn9m3 жыл бұрын
@@girllovescoding I could, if I had one :-D but yes, electric cars are widely widespread over here because of all the incentives.

Hi Alina, Thanks for the detailed video. Please suggest the areas to rent a flat for a single person that's a little away from the city centre.
@girllovescoding11 ай бұрын
The cheapest will probably be Taastrup, Høje-Taastrup, but it is 15 min from the central station with train. The close you move towards the center following B-line of the s-train, the more expensive will be the rent. Nørrebro is also a bit cheaper and it is relatively close to the city centre by bike.

Most computer , industrial, electronical engineers from METU, Bilkent, Hacettepe, Bosphorus, ITU universities in Turkey immigrate immediately to all cities of California, Florida, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, Vancouver to become citizens and earn 10 times more income there. Typical computer engineer in Australia earns net 140.000 aud per year and immediately purchase 2nd hand Volvo XC90 Jeep fully loaded, triplex villa half an hour to downtown sydney CBD by motorway by mortgage. Good, nice life can only begin in Turkey as family with Middle East Technical University Civil Engineering Diploma wages which begins with 1000 usd to 8000 usd after 20 years pass in the mud and constructions in all around the world as turkish citizen.

That why I left Denmark after two years of studying. I realised how easy to be a student there, but hard to live as a full-time family. Especially when you aren't a programmer.

It depends on what you do. If you are a programmer with some experience (hard to say how much, around 3 years or more) then it should be at least 45k DKK. But again it depends on how good you can sell your skills 🙂

I did not come to Denmark to work directly because I did not have experience that was relevant in Denmark. I came here to study. I managed to convert the diplomas from my home country into Danish standards and it allowed me to study in Denmark only for 1year + internship instead of 4 years because I chose similar fields (math and IT)
