Bro, I'll be honest. With a limit on working hours, i.e., 24 hours a week, it honestly wouldn't be possible to manage all your expenses and fees. You can definitely manage your expenses and general day-to-day lifestyle while saving some money for your fees, but completely covering your fees and expenses isn't possible.

hey man i have an offer from univ of adelaide, im worried that i might not be able to find any indians since i may be coming for an undergraduate course in business. i feel anxious that this may just end up ruining or slowing my social life since im still pretty young. can you help me and provide clarity? i really feel like i might not be able to fit in there

Hey buddy, first of all, it’s completely okay to feel like this and I’ll be honest - I felt the same but didn’t have the courage to speak it out but you’re doing that which is great! Secondly, I’ll be completely honest - worrying about not finding indians or gelling up w people/indians should be the least of your worries! India and China are the 2 largest nations from where migrants/international students come. Last year, we saw a record high of international students coming in, especially from India!!! You’ll see Indians everywhere, specially in your uni., your course, your accommodation, and the whole of Adelaide!!

@@anshulinadelaide ay thanks a lot man, really needed some reassurance. i tried researching more and yes ig coming to adelaide would be a good thing only for me. also one more thing, do you think i should prefer UTS over univ of adelaide? i have an offer from UTS and La Trobe as well but idk if theres good accommodation available in sydney since im too late to book. i tried to find some but i couldn’t. scape adelaide seems like a much better option to me but since you’re already living there, i wanna ask about what your priorities be and which one would you choose if you had the same options?

Hey bro, there are a bunch of service providers here like Vodafone, Telstra, Optus, and many more but they are the most popular ones. All three of them have discounts for students so feel free to browse on their websites and see what suits you best :)

Please, honestly help me with informations to my questions that follows as some comments I read somewhere are trying to discourage me on my plans of migrating to Australia. 1)Are/Is there high earning jobs in Adalaide for international students with which one can use to offset tuition fees, monthly cost of living and still be able to have savings? 2)Which university/s in Adalaide can I apply to do my masters in biomedical sciences? 3)How does the academic programme run yearly,when do schools open for a new academic year? 4)Can I get any university that can avail me fully funded scholarship in masters in biomedical sciences. 5)Is the cost of living in Adailade better in comparison to other regions of Australia? 1) Those will probably be working in hospitality as you get more hours and higher pay on weekends. Obviously, best would be if you can find a job in your own industry, that'll pay you well :) 2) Depends on what you're looking for and what your situation is. 3) You can come in any intake from the following - Feb or July. Generally, it's holidays from November end to February end 4) Depends on what scholarships they have on offer and how qualified you are 5) Yes, absolutely! I've been to Melbourne and Auckland, which is like Sydney. Adelaide is wayyyy better.

There are jobs available. A lot of brans like hungry jacks, McDonald’s, coles etc. have job openings on their website. Only things to keep in mind are networking, strong resume, and a strong cover letter

It really depends on you and how much effort you put into things. There are a lot of organisations that are hiring and I do have a bunch of friends who are working for the government as well but they put in the hard work with networking and everything, that is why they got jobs. Things are looking good atm :)

the market is a little tough when it comes to finding a house or an apartment since you don't have any rental history here. If you have the budget, I would recommend staying at a student accomodation for the first 6 months, get a job which will get you payslips which you can then use to apply for different properties. If you don't have the budget, I would recommend searching Facebook marketplace from India for empty rooms in a house or apartment

Hey man, it's easy to find a job if you follow the right steps. Steps like talking to different people and getting references, having a good resume and cover letter, and applying at different places. If you're 19 or 20, it's easier to find a job. The general minimum wage rate is around 25 AUD which increases according to your age. The wage also increases on Saturday's and Sunday's for everybody.
