Expensive or inexpensive is All relative to what one has in income and what they are willing to spend on a product and/or service. I would NEVER spend over $10k cash for any vehicle in the usa, however, some will take a $50k loan from a bank for a 4-door truck they never haul anything in (not even passengers). Depends on what it's worth to you.

Meal in local warung $2-$5 Meal in cafe $10-$15 Meal at fancy beach club & fine dining : $50 & up **Drinks (alcohol) usually pricier than meals. GuestHouse starting: 10/ night Budget hotel: $20/ night Fancy hotel: sky is the limit🤣

I get being on a budget when you’re on vacation. But in Indonesia you really only need about $20-30 to get a nice, *authentic* experience. Feel free to enjoy your smoothie bowls and burgers, but I feel like there’s so many better foods and things to try when you’re visiting a foreign country. And a lot of those options are severely limited when you’re surrounded by touristy restaurants and locations that know they’re overcharging you.

@@uyagraph Jakarta is more expensive since it’s the capital and a lot of tourists go there to visit. But still, with the currency exchange from a large country like Europe, the UK, or the US, it’s still a lot of money. Most people there make a monthly salary of around $100-200USD. Anything more is considered a luxury in that country. My family only brings like $5-7k USD for a whole month when we visit. That includes hotels, restaurants, red envelopes for familiy, souvenirs, etc.

Yall I believe it's $130 a day for BOTH of them. $65 per person per day while TRAVELLING is not a lot when you account for 3 meals, accommodations, and other expensives like cabs, buses, etc,... not to mention doing literally ANYTHING in terms of activities. If they are FT travellers as well they probably have an ability to make money while they travel. So yeah ~ $22,000 for a year of living sounds close to almost even minimum wage in Canada (before taxes). If you make $10/hr and work FT, you'd make just shy of $20k. So yeah, not unreasonable spending. 😂

Hey don’t listen to the hate there’s nothing wrong with traveling at a higher budget if you’ve earned it- i Don’t see you disrespecting the locals or anything of that sort. I’d love to see you try a challenge with a lower budget to get perspective on the local lifestyle, but this is still a wonderful video! Keep it up and try to ignore the haters
