"You're not entitled to success" is such an honest and accurate statement... I'm coming to the end of my second year vending and, though I've had more successes than losses, it comes with a lot of hard work, personal investment and a love for what you're working towards even when it's not a great event. Success is measured by so many additional metrics beyond financial gain alone, and too many artists get so fixated on the potential for a huge financial windfall that they lose sight of the smaller individual milestones that they should be celebrating. 🖤

I’ve got my first big convention coming up and I’m a bit stressed about how much to take because I’ve never done a 3 day event! We’ll see what happens ☺️ thank you for the episode! So reassuring for general tips etc
