You need a scanner and software to retract the parking brake on these newer bmws but yeah I’ve done plenty of brake jobs on older vehicles

@@ridewithG123 you sure? I have g20 2021 m sport and could manually retract parking brake. just have to unscrew and take off the motor and then use torx to retract it.
