Wages, rent, business rates, utilities, tax, VAT, wastage, losses etc etc. then of course - profit…..it’s basic business, I don’t know why people can’t understand this.

You really only sell to cex if you’re desperate for money, it’s always better to privately sell games and such

Selling to CeX is a doubled edged sword. I had three monitors I couldn't be bothered posting or messing around with - then I realised CeX would actually pay similar cash to what I'd get myself online. Turns out they have this "bulk purchase" rule where if you're selling multiple of something they deduct 25% from their cash offer. On one hand they're convenient, and sometimes do actually offer okay cash - but overall they're a bit dodgy to deal with and don't typically offer anything like the real value for most items, especially on games. Anyway, I ended up selling my 3 monitors to them with that 25% deduction, but for trade in credit instead. I bought all of the Spiderman games on Xbox 360, now my £280 is worth more, jokes on them they still haven't sold the monitors. lol

You just sell one to each Cex, or get someone else to sell on their account. Or you can sell 1 a day, then you only trading in one at a time. Very easy way around it. It is only if you sell more than 2 of the same item.

I noticed in some yof your ps3 you had some USA rated titles too. Not sure CEX would take them either. Aboslutley correct, wouldnt sell anything to cex, and when you consider postage is now £2.95 per item...ordering online is only worth it if its a solid rare title thats not local. Decent selection all the same. Keep em, they will only go up eventually.

Good look. New here. Got a UK version of Splatterhouse for $6 AUD (that was 1-2 years ago I think) got Stranglehold also a UK version for $15, so that much Pounds is pretty good. I love the game though, no way I'd sell, fair reboot/collection of the Turbo Grafx/Genesis games as my entry to the series. Most obvious I have are AU gamea but odd US ones (PS3 or other conslles), and those 2 UK/England ones, 1 PS3 being Splattehouse Strangehold for 360. Lot of interesting ones listed, base line of course. I don't sell but buy from a CEX type or others with games, laptops, movies/tv seasons, jewellery and other equipment. Some $5, but fhe other store has them higher most times more notable titles of some. More less known are cheaper. So I go some cheap obvious series and some less care or hear about that are my thing in some genres. Paid $9 for Infamous 1&2. Bought this year/last year. Glad got Spec Ops The Line (this year around time of PC removal, knew about it years earlier but went eh I'll buy it because of the announcement) when I did for PS3, $29 AUD but still a great game. More reasonable but particular I don't mind paying $30 like I did Legend of Spyro PS2, got a Wii copy of Dawn of the Dragon for cheaper then fhr $59 or so PS2 version, bpth different stores though. Wii versions may not be much hut pro controller or wiimote a fair experience that trilogy. Got Vikings for $15 on a random look around (same with Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom for 360) not into that type of RPG, same with Rise of the Argonauts for $5 (both PS3 copies), a fair greecerome (forget which) hack n slash RPG but glad I picked them up as they are pretty interesting games even if a genre not that into. Prefer tactics RPGs these days not action or turn based. Homefront is ok, didn't mind it really. Paid $5 AUD. They put most games for PS3 at $5, had some PSP or PS2 at $1-3 but usually $5 now. Didn't bother me. Its a passable game of its themes, set pieces are ok. Shooting was odd but still fair. Played a lot of shooters since with sither eh L2/R2 or aiming pr speint or direction of tasks/bosses. Length didn't bofher me. Modern audiences and the games around them. I binged old God of War, bought Knack and enjoyed it as a kids God of War besides eh story, good gameplay. I don't care for soulslikes or slow paced hack n slashes. Heavenly Sword was great, played it before my PS3 God of War collecting I think. Good crossbow sixaxis and fair combat, fair story/world/voice acting. Got it for have to look at receipts no stickers left of EB, or others hmm. Surprised Quest for Booty into isn't higher. But maybe irs too normal for PAL releases I guess. I guess 213 releases of some kinds are worth more? Killzone HD would make sense. Interesting got the PSP God of War PS3 collection for $19 1/2 price $38 sticker from EB games in 2017/2018 I think. Ascension for $18. Bought whatever could to binge the series, yeah God of War 2018 wasn't for me but the rest of the series was. Just gor Ascension to get last fhe halfway mark. Got Chains of Olympus on PSP for $10(ghe period of certain 5 or $10 PSP games woth others varying I see but don't really buy of God father or some mainstream anime games, prefer niche anime shows then mainstream ones so not for me) as well so mostly played Ghost of Sparta on PS3 collection. 1&2 on PS3 as well. 3 on PS4 remaster. Interesting Tomb Raider, Sly and Ratchet collection prices hmm. Ah Rising Revegeance one of these fays like ghe prher Platinum games/other hack n slashes/character action games besides Dante's Inferno to finish or Conan or Beowulf. Consoles, controllers, USB Mini cable for the controllers to charge (also useable with Wii U pro controller), move/PS Move camera, HDMI/AV Cable, Power cable. I'd say it pushes it a fair bit depends on fhe price, model, how much bunxled in.

Done the same with my Ps3 collection and my collection according to Cex is worth £251.50, 44 games worth. Most expensive game in my collection is Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition at £40, I bought it for £1 in a charity shop 😂

What is the deal with your cases? Bad aftermarkets, Dual Disc on single disc, Gen 1 on Gen 2 games, Gen 2 on Gen 1 games. All over the place. Also seems like all the aftermarket cases have reprinted art.

Godzilla is up there. I think Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn is pretty close as well.

Godzilla, Blades of Time. Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn are currently the highest single/non remake/remaster games of the ps3 some other are close like Tornado Outbreak, Spider Man Shattered Dimensions, Lost Dimension, Time and Eternity, i would imagine within another year or so we will have over a dozen games in the 100 plus range and godzilla over 200 by christmas.

Fallout new vegas one of the best games ever made. Fucking YES! Hands down my favourite Fallout game, Kinda surprised you don't have the ultimate edition though
