Hey Scott! Is it worth visiting Cusco during rainy season (thinking February?) or is it generally better to postpone until late March-April? Curious how big of an impact that would actually have on my trip. Appreciate any help!

It’s generally better to wait till late March or April. It really rains a lot and affects a lot of stuff. The good news is that April is usually spectacular!!! And it’s also not very touristy at that time compared to the months that follow.

Hey Drew as someone who lived in Cusco and went twice to Machu Picchu during rainy season (March) and drier season (August), I have to say there's pros and cons to both. During rainy season the scenery, and beauty was gorgeous and off the charts. During drier season it was definitely not as beautiful in the area and way less greenery. The waters were quite dry. I definitely am glad I went During rainy season to see this part because the mountains were so alive and also the rivers were so strong and majestic. During dry season its not as pretty. Definitely a difference. Maybe you can come later though in between the wet and dry season so you can still get some of that beauty without suffering too much. I was very disappointed in my visit in August I just kept thinking omg its way less pretty (talking about surrounding areas too like Ollantaytambo, Aguas Caliente etc) Also book your tickets in advance to hike Huaynapicchu very beautiful place with Machu picchu they can sell out months in advance

@@OneWayTicketwithScottAnthony Portugal is really nice! But definitely a lot pricier than Peru. I was kind of shocked with the food prices they're similar to bay area , with average of $10+ for each decent meal in Lisbon. Or eating steak in Porto costed me $25+ and octopus rice was $16 there. I just came back from there 2 months ago Pricier than Greece and Turkey too. But beautiful country, and keep up your good work with videos!
