Also, I realize that I overlooked the Kong head with a silver tooth, I'm just not used to getting accessories for other figures in already overpriced figures I suppose haha I’m also aware that the high price tag is not even as high as it could be. What are we thinking??

Yo I got the Hiya toys Heat Ray godzilla! Also my thoughts are that this is inaccurate the jaw is to long unlike in the movie it was short also the tail spikes are way to big the crstyals are not that good It also looks like it has Minus QC oh boy another minus one minus quality situation Also the price is outrageous for a unaccurate and Barely detailed so I think it’s best to get the Hiya toys one because the hiya toys one is 3X less than the ShMA it’s way more detailed and the sculpt and paint is way better

Me personally I do not like it first she looks so plain like she has no color to her, even though in the movie her skin is kind of like reflective. Glad hiya toys didn’t forget that. Secondly for some reason, they decided to use the concept design of shimo rather than the final design of her💀That’s why her waist looks way skinnier and her spikes look different and her tail. Now I know this is going to be a weird nick pick but her claws are supposed to be blue not black🤓. Sorry for my long yap session nice video can’t wait for u to compare the two😎

The design isnt even the movie one its literally final render which is changed a lot in the movie she got bulkier her claws become blue her tail spines were smaller etc this isnt even the movie design yet they had more time than any other figure company to make this and what we got playmates but better paint application

Pre ordered Hiya. This is alright. The figure also comes with another kong head that actually has the metal tooth. Why couldn’t they add that head to the original Kong figure? Same with the beast glove coming with scar. I would have loved a head with the metal tooth. Both the heads with the Kong figure don’t even have the metal tooth.

2:21 the reason shimo looks so big is because where she is standing the floor is higher then where Kong is standing I don’t know how to explain it, but that’s not how big she is next to Kong if you get what I’m taking about

It just always seems like SHMA likes to use 2 color schemes for each figure, in this case they only used white and blue, no shades of gray or colors of blue. Just 2 colors, while Hiya uses a huge variety of colors like white, gray, darker grays, lighter shades of blue. I’d rather have good paint that a lot of articulation

Hey Cepi! Which Hiya Godzilla has the best/darkest paint coloring? I saw the GVK translucent at a convention and I agree with your video, he does appear pretty light and I'm all for a darker paint job. Thanks!

Yo Gecko, I would say that the original GvK version has the darkest paint job. The 2019 might be close but has light highlights, and the new pre evolved from Hiya is a tad lighter than the GvK

I don’t know how I feel about this figure if I’m going to be honest. The fact that there’s no gum membranes for her mouth, the lack of shading on her body and translucent dorsal spines especially, a weirdly proportioned body and absurdly large thagomizer makes the SHMA Shimo look off-putting to me, especially when you compare it to the Hiya Toys version which is GODLY beautiful. Also the fact that she’s around $200 whilst being absurdly large for a consistent figure scaling, having no unique accessories personalised for her like a Frostbite Blast Beam other than an alternate gritting teeth Kong head (which makes me wonder why they would sell this and the BEAST Glove accessory separately in two completely different and expensively mid figures instead of having all in one go for Kong other than that they just want to rip you off and receive more money) makes this figure a complete bastardisation and dogshit execution for SHMA. I don’t know how they are justifying their terribly high prices for these poorly designed figures to be honest and I’m pretty disappointed in them for this. Skar King was one thing but Shimo being another similar situation was my breaking point (Evolved Godzilla gets a little bit of a leeway for me but that one may become another SHMA Godzilla Minus One situation so who knows).

Eeeeeeh gonna agree to disagree, higher ground sure. But the distance she is from him in that shot does not match up. They are titans, they are like an 1/6 of a mile away from each other in that shot or more and they are making it seem like it's being shot on a long lens with that kind of compression with human scale. And she also seems to appear to change sizes between shots of the low grav and final battle. But this isn't anything new, the scale changes between scenes in GvK lol
