I did not realize t2 hulks mined that much. I personally use t1 covetors, mostly for cost reasons, but also convenience. I only really mine in LS, moons and ice, so I don't have compression (it is cheaper to put a refinery on the athanor than field an orca, and moving an orca around ls is quite a huge pain). With a t2 sieged, implanted, and max skill porp, a max skill max yield covetor with t1 miners mines about 1450 per strip per cycle, with a cycle time of about 80 seconds, which is just long enough to be able to jet can every 3 cycles, which is how long it takes to fill up. I also find that t1 barges with porps tend to attract less attention than faction exhumers would.

3:10 Bad UI design.... or rather good, but for different use case. Dev/ playtester will spend an hour per week (or a month) mining or doing PI so clicking a few extra times is not a big deal, might even be "engaging". But doing it X times daily gets old/ annoying really fast. Same thing happened couple years ago with "kill confirmation" animation and sound... (the "DING!") Hearing it once every couple dozen seconds- OK. Hearing it multiple times per minute when doing pve/ pvp... annoying as hell. Now we have the login campaigns, The Agency and Air Career Program... different redeemable stuff in 3 separate windows. Again, ok (I guess?) if someone uses one account. Boring if you have to go trough a clickfest on 10 accounts.

Don't be afraid of combat probes because gankers can simply dscan and warp to Athanor :p

true, but its roughly 100km away from the actual belt, which is not warpable
