I have owned my appliance repair business for about 6 years. My average ticket price is about $260. It's a great business!

Do you carry a lot of parts either in your van or at a warehouse? Do you work on all brands? I mostly work on GE, LG, SAMSUNG, KENMORE. FRIGIDAIRE, WHIRLPOOL things like that.

Just curious what number of population is needed to make 5 calls a day?

Learn sealed system. R600, Samsung and LG will keep you busy. Average $600-700 labor per call. You can get more for high end. Thermador, Viking, Sub Zero and Wolf

Good figures, Sir! However, would you please show how much you pay for the lead? GOOGLE is the most efficient, but it is expensive. YELP is absolute trash. So we have THUMB and Google, warranty companies and property managers. What is your average lead cost? ANd what is the state you work in?

Thank you for the video, I have worked for Sears for 1 year just in refrigerator I believe I am ready to start my business however I want to learn washers and dryer too, Some of the calls you always need to come back and install the part, are they included in the average price per call?? Thank you

That's exciting that you are thinking about going on your own! Yes, customers like it when you give them one set price. So it accounts for the second trip.

But if you charge high, it is a good business . Average sell we do 278$ , so it is a profitable businesss

Yes, you will be in much better shape if you use a job rate, charge what you are supposed to charge. It's tough to make it big on service charges only.

Where do you purchase parts?
@adpenalin8 ай бұрын
When you talk about "ticket value", is that before or after subtracting the cost of parts? In other words, let's say you had a job where the customer paid you $200 total and you had to install a $50 part. Would your ticket value, as defined in this video, be $200 or $150? Thanks for clarifying.

What happens on the jobs where you may have to order parts or recalls Do you charge again?
@theapplianceprofit11 ай бұрын
We use a flat rate guide, so the price we quote won't change. But there is plenty of profit margin "builtin" to the flat rate price that if we have to order and return, we still make a profit! But first call completes are always best!

Are these salary sites accurate? They say appliance tech makes on average about 46k per year.

Where do you get clients? If it's a Google ads or SLA, then each lead will cost you about $80-$100. So if you do a $100 service call, you basically work for free. You have to count the cost for lead! Taxes and etc. Your math is not correct.

100$ per diagnostic - sounds sweet - 1 leas costs from 80$ to 150$. Just to get this costumer you will spend everything or more then he pays you 🎉 after a year you r broke living on the street
