Doesnt need to be. Everyone should get what he/she deserves. And clearly ladies football doesnt generate enough money for having a equal salary

the womens world cup generated more profit per capita through tv rights. (because they pay the players and teams less) So technically, the men's would make more, but per capita the women's world cup makes more.

however proportonately the total revenue of the women world cup paid to the teams is higher then the men's, e.g. say the men's pulls in 1 Billion the pay of that to the teams could be 10% of that total, but the womens is higher due to the uproar over equal pay even though the total pool of revenue brought in just isn't there so they could be taking away up to 30% of the total revenue. But the men's is a lot higher just as you say due to the increased sponsorship and tv rights.
