I have a game with just over 50k visits(it is growing at this very moment) and it has made me 15k robux. I have just a few game passes and they are cheap(admin commands and gears.) the concept of my game is basically a Korblox and headless hangout, and I spent little to no effort making it. Moral of the story, making a game is luck based

guys i know alot of youtubers say the exact thing, but i had 100,000 robux from a comission i did a while back, and i put 80K into advertisements, and i only got 10 active players and 3,000 visits. i did absolutely everything i could to revive it, thats why i wanna warn yall to be careful. getting popular in the roblox studio community is luck, so dont think your game will get alot of players just because u put alot of robux in it and make it perfect, be careful.

I probably shouldn't be sharing this information (LOL), but I have a game which I'm the second dev for called "Wacky Worlds" with only 5.6M+ plays, and the game has made us well over 10K USD so far. I can only imagine how much devs with many more plays on their games are making. You can make bank from Roblox y'all don't give up!!

Haha, for anyone here that wants to know another developer story, Ive contributed to more than 20M+ game visits and also made more than 10K+ USD, if you wanna read my story then start below: (btw im spanish so my english isnt that good hope yall understand) I started playing roblox since mid 2014, and yeah I also never had a lot of ROBUX until 2021, before 2021, I had literally negative balance on paypal and also had almost 0 ROBUX most of the times, I used to be happy about seeing 100 ROBUX in my balance lol, I also quit many times because I used to work for "motivation" and thats not the way you want to develop, bc your gonna quit most of the times too, and yeah before 2021, I just used to make my own personal projects that never went public, learning LUA and studio in general, in 2021 I got invited to my first project to script on which made me a lil bit more than 1K USD, it had 2M+ game visits and 100 CCU, it was an academy roleplay game, its still active but under new ownership, after that I also quit a lot of times and just wasted my time playing games most of the time, now in mid 2024, I got invited to work on Grind Life which used to average 1,4K CCU, sadly there was a lot of drama so the game didn't last long, it made more than 10K USD (I didnt get anything from it) in just a few months of release. After that, I developed for Windy Chiraq which CCU is currently 200, but before it used to be around 600, Windy Chiraq made me more than 2K USD, then Windy Chiraq inspired me to make my own game with my developer partner which is called RedZone PVP and it used to be 900 CCU, right now its usually 100-150 CCU, it has made more than 2K+ USD, and then after that, I joined my most successful project which is called Sierra, Mexico, it averages 1,4K CCU (weekends 2K CCU), used to average 2,7K CCU, it has made me more than 3K+ USD and the project itself has made 10K+ USD (cant say the full amount), now I also made my brand new horror game which is growing up quickly, it has 400 CCU. The reason I mostly got invited to most of these projects was old friends of mine inviting me to it because they needed help, besides that I also made friends in those projects and the same thing happen, they invited me to more projects, I also use my game portfolio and knowledge and proof of me working to join more projects. Btw I know the most thing I talk about is money, I am not trying to flex or anything lol, its just to let you guys know, you could have the worst start like I had literally having no money and a bad PC, and you will still success, if you do what you like, you will always end up making money no matter what, even if it takes a few years like it did for me. I thank god daily because of what I have and I am just 16. Always set goals for each year, in 2024 I broke all my goals, 2025 I want to reach more than 10K+ CCU in all of my games and release/develop more successful games. Never quit, and make sure you always love what you do, in my case, I always liked roleplay games like GTA V inspired games and also army games, and thats mostly what all my games are about. I also give back a lot of times ROBUX in donation games if you want to check out my YT channel, I have donated more than 700K+ ROBUX (2K+ USD), make sure you always stay humble and pray god.
