This was super insightful. Thank you for sharing this mate. I just opened a Fiverr account yesterday and set up a recording studio in our spare room. Music is my lifelong passion, and I’m so over thinking about it while I’m working for someone else. Cheers mate. Wish me luck! And good luck to you as well

Good work Cuz! I’ve spent lots of money on Fiverr, mainly for design work. Always exceeded expectation. I’m always happy to pay for the best. Well done. Good experiment.

That’s interesting Dom. For logos and stuff like that? It can be surprisingly good sometimes for sure. Thanks a lot mate 🙏🏻

@@TheTwoTonesLive actually a variety of stuff. Logos and brand identity for sure, actually got some really great stuff on that but basically anything where it’s tough to find local people with skills for small or large jobs. Great option for business.

@@dommcnally7488 that’s really cool you’ve used it a bunch. Wasn’t confident anyone in my circle would know what it was, let alone have used it! Fair play

Used kinda same strategy, got good response. It's always about the right execution. However, got better ways to market so left.

Nice one! Did you go on to market within a social circle or did a different door open for you?

@@TheTwoTonesLive I went for cold sales, however, too niche specific. Would say it wasn't cold cuz I always did my research well about my client. First via text, then schedule a call then close the client. The more recurring work you get the better. Work with limited number of clients but with return work so you don't have to look for other. Besides that your revence jumps almost 20%, fiverr fee

So are you writing guitar parts for your clients or are they giving you a pre recorded track of what they want you to play? Cause if you create the guitar track you become a co-composer contributing to the copyrights to that song. Just curious. 👍✌
@TheTwoTonesLive Жыл бұрын
It can be both of what you've said there, either or! Yes some clients are happy to have me as a listed composer, I don't really mind personally. Getting money on the back end through royalties is a questionable, inconsistent, unreliable source of income I'd say! Especially if people wanted to reduce the initial cost for the promise of royalties on the back end. :) Have a good day

Hi small channel just checking out your channel. What sorts of things would a person do with guitar to sell on Fiver, like write songs? Or guitar lessons? Just curious since I'm new to Fiver. And thanks for the info

Thanks for the comment! The most typical type of work I do is: - Guitar backing tracks - Bass backing tracks - Write chords to your vocal melody - Write a melody to your lyrics - Music production & mixing The guitar backing tracks are 70/80% of the work, normally a singer wants an acoustic guitar to sing a long to. All the best!
