It’s possible. I put the tonneau cover down on the way back home. Same trip, same average speed , and I got 14.2

It's not the hot your gonna get in fuel economy, it'sbyour first 7 to 9 thousand dollar repair bill. The diesel mechanics for every company won't even buy the diesel models, they know better.

the cover doesn't help mpg. the only thing that does is a tailgate net. as per the show mythbusters.

I get 20 mpg on the high way with my 2020 high country duramax .
