Biffa: *doesn't put pipes under roads* City Planner Plays: *frustration intensifies*
@zombiefacesupreme3 жыл бұрын
He tried it for one episode "because its what all the cool kids are doing" and he quit because it is unnecessarily cumbersome. The best thing about 5B1C is that we get to see what all the builders are good at. Trying to get them all to build the same is just annoying-- especially when building water pipes like that wastes your finite number of nodes. I love Philip and his play style, but Biffa is fun in his own way for a reason.

@@_qwe_fk_1700 Every junction, be it road, water pipe or electrical connection, counts as a node, I think. And there could be a limit to that, just like you can only have 16k active vehicles at one time on a map. The game simply prunes the excess, or crashes.

Dirt roads don't get plowed when it snows. You will also see some houses upgrade when you upgrade from dirt to a normal road. You should run a cable car up to the prison from the housing community below it so people can visit their family members in jail. Put a ski lodge up there as well, it already has road, water and electricity so everything you need is there. Skip the incinerators and go with recycle centers. They can go closer to the residential areas which makes them produce less traffic. You should replace the forest plantations with the sapling plantations of the same size. They produce more in the same footprint.
@ShadowWolfTJC3 жыл бұрын
From what I know of mountainside city building, city planners (especially if they had a tight budget) would build these winding snake-like roads that roughly follow the contours of mountains, hills, valleys, canyons, etc. to keep the roads from being too steep for vehicles to travel on. As for the horrendous road traffic from connecting a puny main road straight onto a highway, perhaps now's the time to practice making your own interchanges, instead of relying upon the ones that you downloaded from the Workshop?

I hereby dub the new residential area, and especially the highway access to it, Biffa's Curse, so named because Biffa probably cursed a lot making that hill road.
