Even if the content is sometimes repetitive, thank you for keeping platinum in the conversation on KZbin. The available platinum content and so the community is much smaller than for silver, for example. I enjoyed this video.

@@shanejones578 10 grams? In my region i have only 2 options. 1/10 oz (kooks/🐼/britannia) 1 oz What coin is 10 grams? 1/3 oz? I dont see that options im my shops... Kookaburras is the best series so i stick on those even if i have pat little more.

Great video Platinum beast! I also stack Platinum, and I do it in a very same way as you. I will lead you on to something good and that is the 1/3 oz Platinum coins, that are from Australia and very hard to come by these coins will make your stack even more valuable if you can find them they are very expensive. I found a bunch of them online from a dealer that I grabbed cheap one year a couple years ago. Take a look at what it's looking at for the price now going for those and you'll see what I mean they are very valuable. Hope this helps your stacking abilities! Keep on the good work

There is much less platinum than silver. 1/30 maybe a financially sound ratio, but importantly it is not even close to the annual mining ratio of these 2 metals. For every 1 ounce of platinum there are more than 100 ounces of silver mined annually. So 1/100 is a more realistic ratio. Platinum should be around $2500. This price also makes sense in relation to platinum mining costs, other costs and mining concentration risks.

My IDEAL ratio is 20-25 oz og GOLD,100 oz SILVER, 10 oz PLATINUM, 1-5 oz PALLADIUM, 100 lbs COPPER. Platinum is useful but not as the DOMINANT Stack.

Platinum could 1 day see its Star shine bright, but probably not in the immediate future. Platinum stackers have to be willing to hold it for a while. Unlike Gold, Platinum is a much longer term investment.

I remember when Pt was double gold. So, I am ok with having some, but gold is still king. I have SGR of about 28:1 My SPtR is 294:1

@shanejones578 I do believe it might/could happen again with the evolution of H fuel cells, and that is why I have some. However, this is far more of a speculation vs. gold, which is king all over the world or silverwhich iis monetary and industrial. Both have enormous markets vs. Pt, so their liquidity is vastly superior.

I play the ratios but it's a long game. Ive wanted platinum in the stack since like 2007 or so but started buying platinum over gold starting in 2020 and recently traded the rest of my gold for gold mining stocks and some physical platinum because the ratios are so out of whack. Once the platinum to silver ratio first hit 33:1 i was selling some of my more collectible silver like engelhards to stack up on more platinum too.
