nah its not mostly oil... what they most probably smelled and where the smoke came from was the heatwrap around the exauhst and stuffs... the amount of oil they burned was kinda little and it seems to me like it was just the old crusty oil thats all over the place on the body of eddie over the years.. when the heatshield/wrap stuffs get hot for the first time(S) it will burn the glue and stuffs inside it to get a really tight fit and such. so yeah mostly the cars are smoking a lot and smelling like hell after a fresh wrap of heatshield. how long it takes until it doesnt smoke anymore? it depends really on so many things but in generall you can imagine it like this: when the car had around 3-5 proper heat sessions it should be gone, but as i said it depends....

Dicker... mach den 36er doch mal richtig schön. So ein geiles Auto mit dem Motor. Einmal komplett zerlegen, entrosten, neu Lacken und wieder zusammen bauen. Eddie sieht so wie er da steht vom style mit den Felgen, dem fetten spoiler und der Tiefe ja schon echt geil aus. Würde da garnix mehr groß dran machen optisch. Aber der Wagen hat es echt verdient einmal anständig gemacht zu werden. E36 gibt es nicht mehr viele..

I think you’ll be very surprised how long that m52 will last bro! If you had a m50b25 inlet manifold on you would have gained an extra 20-25 bhp straight away as the stock m52 one is very restrictive.
