Honestly, the camera man will have to be all over the place to film me!😆🤣😂! It would not be the true positions I’m in when I do my own nails. I would have to have to hold my hand in the position we usually film from for everyone to see properly. Length! XXXL is very popular right now. I do NOT currently have this as an option for my clients. Quick question i have white sculpture which i never really use for white tips but I do use white gel polish can I use white sculpture as a gel polish it is very thick i thought maybe mix it with base??

I would use it. It is really thick and even if you mix it with bass I feel like it will change the shape of your nail. Like make it look more bulky after you spend the time making them look perfect filing them. I would use Mission Control Fizz! 😉🤍💅🏻🤩✨

Can I build the free edge in gel then build the actual nail in acrylic? I do my own nails and I find it easier to build the shape in gel since I have more time to perfect it but I love using colored acrylics for design

No that won’t work. You never want to build your free ass in jail and put a hard product like acrylic on top of it. It won’t support it. You might as well filled it all in gel. The clarity is a little better as well. But you can always build your extension acrylic and build on gel on top of that.!

You can use it in Gel or Acrylic. Pretty much all the videos we have on confetti are in acrylic. I wanted to use gel to show the gel text that you could apply in gel as well. 🙌🏼😉😊💅🏻🤩

Melissa you are just the best ! question ....I used flex gel to mix glitter into to make a "full cover glitter" then I capped with ultimate finish gel ....is this correct and will the wear sustain? I also made ultra short enhancements with the flex gel - clear - and used the full cover glitter on top ...

If this person would come back in 4 weeks for a design change, how would you handle it and how much would you charge?

It would really depend on what they would be changing the design to. But to help you break it down, you would start with your regular rebalance price as your base price. Adding on to that, if you are completely changing out the design on the two nails, you would charge an additional $10-$20 per nail for encapsulation which includes one color/glitter. Any additional colors/glitters are $5 each for the set. If you are just rebalancing what's already on the nails and not changing out the encapsulation, you can just add in $5 per confetti/glitter and add the product in to the rebalance.

Usually when they say custom shaping in the videos they mean pretty much anything besides square. These extra shapes - coffin, ballerina, almond, stiletto, almondetto, they require different form placement and filling techniques for each, more time = more money! Charge for it! You got this!!

A custom shape is anything but square. It’s never to late to start charging do them. Your skill level of being able to do all these different shapes it’s worth something. It takes longer to shape ballerina, almond or a coffin shape. 😉😊🤩💖💅🏻✨🙏🏻

Custom shapes take longer than square. Everything I learn new to offer my clients and to be able to perform any shape successfully... I’m charging for it. It’s called custom nails. Now someone’s gluing on a nail that’s in a custom shape already, that’s a different story. I actually would still charge for that because you’re having to pay to have all those custom shapes in stock. The beauty of it all is that we all run our own businesses how we want to and that’s what I love about doing nails. We all set ourselves apart from each other and that’s what makes us all unique.😉😊🙏🏻🤩💖💅🏻✨

They require proof of your diploma(s) in order to vet you before creating an account and allowing you to see the prices and make purchases. Same with Gelish. It’s so frustrating. But since it’s not a requirement on the American site, maybe they can force the SA distributors to change their policies to align with head office...
