Great vid Andrew. Have you considered repurposing the old tower as holiday homes. With structural steelwork inside and curved steps outside. Maybe a viewing balcony on top. Definitely something different. Also with a fully refurbed 3115 you would learn to love ploughing!Even your Grandads old piggeries are worth preserving . Best regards Bryan

How many cows milking

Was less than I was expecting, was thinking somewhere between 1 - 1.5 milion, I suppose having the cow housing already done away years ago when things were cheaper really helped

I think the fact I dont have alot of debt and deducted what I do have helped keep it sensible

I suppose the 8s and the parlour are the only 2 investments that have been in the what I would call "crazy prices era" everything else on the farm probably seem quite reasonable in comparison due to when they were built/bought. I see a lot of serious infrastructure development on dairy farms around the country that have been done in very recent times , ohh but they are going to leave an awful sting to pay off over a very long time

Everyone is talking about how expensive things are now, and I know milk prices aren't good at the moment, but things are always expensive when you buy them or build them. If another video is done in another 16 years everyone will say "your lucky you bought that or did that then"
