@@GoingFartherTogether i rather recomend you spend time in thailand for couple of month. those vdo are capture the heart of thai people and you can eventually become big just like many. don't have to put everything in one clip. just 2 thing is enough. believe me you can do ton of clip. as far as i see. other country in souteast asia didn't get as much view as in yhailand. i guess beside thai people love this kind of vdo. potential tourist like it as well. and there is 20 million potential tourist come to thailand every year. exagerate the place . exagerate the menu. make it 10 minute clip. and audio in this clip is too long. just put it from time to time brother. anyway. i will rooting for you. i am too lazy to edit vdo. and even too lazy to go outside. so my chanel just stuck at 300 subscriber 🤣🤣

@GoingFartherTogether12 күн бұрын
Thank you for the compliment! In particular I know the restaurant in our video is more expensive than usual since it’s Michelin guided, but aside from that, which expense(s) are you referencing so I can answer you better?
@TheReduxLife12 күн бұрын
@ well I’ve seen vids by other creators in Pattaya and Bangkok who live in similar condos to your’s for $500-$600 per month. In Pattaya it seems you can get ocean views for that price range. Most of the food they show costs less but it’s usually street vendors or night markets so I understand the lower costs. But the $18 breakfast you guys had seems pretty high. So I’m just wondering if Phuket is more expensive or maybe you are just picking super high end locations? I’m curious because I’m planning to visit Thailand and I love videos that provide cost breakdowns.
@GoingFartherTogether10 күн бұрын
Gotcha! Thank you for the extra context, I can answer you much better now. So for rent, if you book direct with locals it can definitely be at a lower price, we booked ours directly through Airbnb (more expensive) since we were only going to be there for a month. But for a longer stay, you can definitely get better places. I would still recommend doing Airbnb first and then go shopping around for a longer term rental. Phuket was more on the pricey side as well, you’ll see higher costs for rent there and food , but honestly it’s the ice coffees that really upped the cost of our breakfast bill, the iced coffees are basically the same price as the meals lol. If you stay seat from western food/drinks, costs are much lower

@GoingFartherTogether hi well I saw another video of somebody at Pattaya Beach the beach looked amazing with interesting buildings at either end and ships out in the ocean he was shooting it from a fantastic shopping centre that seemed to be on the beach (multi-story) so I think I'm going to go there for starters with my brother. We were in the Philippines earlier this year and Thailand last year but only in Patong Beach which I really loved. Also thinking about going to Cambodia and Laos I just love Asia it's all relatively new to me but the people are so friendly aren't they and the food is amazing and affordable along with the animals that we just don't get here in Australia coming out in January which will be our hot summer here in Australia but cool they're so it should all time quite well and my tourist dollar will go so much further. Hopefully later in the year I want to do a train ride from San Francisco to New York stopping off here and there to check out the different towns staying overnight etc because I love America too)

With all the traveling you all do, where do you get your hair done? It feels like your hair is different in these videos.
@GoingFartherTogether19 күн бұрын
Lol! I typically do it myself. But these braids were done in Bali for $110! ☺️
@nikajohnson921018 күн бұрын
@GoingFartherTogether I almost feel like you have to mention stuff like that too. Lol. People getting their hair braided while traveling is a thing especially if it's less expensive in the place they are traveling to.
@GoingFartherTogether17 күн бұрын
I’ll keep that in mind for sure. ☺️ Appreciate the suggestion, truly.

The motorbike taxis don't provide you with a helmet? I would think that would be required by law.
@GoingFartherTogether10 күн бұрын
No they don’t usually, it is law but no one really follows it. I learned after the fact though that travel insurance won’t be active if you get into an accident without one though. Vietnam on the other hand was very good about providing helmets for Grab rides everytime

Are the people in Thailand friendly towards black people, did you feel welcomed? I am considering visiting there with my grandson ?
@GoingFartherTogetherКүн бұрын
Yes we did feel welcome, there weren't any weird or awkward interactions, and we always felt safe. Honestly felt much safer there than in the states

Not one bit! I’m not too mad at it though, it definitely helps with portion control, maybe a lil too much 🤣
