Excellent video, David. You are spot on about the prices. I noticed a slight difference with retro and family matters Scarlet Witch. If you take a closer look retro Scarlet's head sculpt. She has a lighter shade on her face and with her hair sculpt you can see her eyes.

I have most of these, the big hole in my Avengers display is Black Widow and Vision. I have the Toy Biz guys standing in for both ATM. I did get the deluxe Widow but it was just irritating me too much that she was so 90s inspired when I'd deliberately built a 70s/80s inspired display that in the end I reluctantly got rid of her. My tip for Hulk is to keep and eye out for the Ed McGuinness inspired one that here in the UK was at one point in a Disney Store exclusive 5-pack. A lot of kids got that five pack and their parents end up selling the Hulk on Facebook Marketplace for a few pounds. That's where I got mine. He's got the more modern hair but otherwise he can pass for a classic Hulk. He's nowhere near the best Legends Hulk ever but if you're working to a tight budget he can be super-cheap to get even if he's just a placeholder in your display.

I was born in 1980 so I'm a bigger fan of the old style look of the Avengers than I am of the movie ones. I only have Hulk and Captain America. I brought the Hulk 2pack with Wolverine and I must say for me personally he's the best Hulk figure out there. The new one looks good but a bit ugly lol. If you havent brought the latest Captain America with the holes in the shield then you must purchase it. He's fantastic! I'm not a Cap fan but this figure is something else and I like mixing him on my shelf with the Gi Joe's Classified line. Great video mate. 👍👏

Why do you think Hasbro only has the 80th Anniversary Thor and Iron Man out, but not Captain America? The reason why I say this is because everywhere I've checked there is no 80th Anniversary Cap. I mean you can check 3rd and 4th hand dealers, but they are charging an arm and a leg to get it. When I tried to get it when it came out they SOLD OUT! I'd like to get it for nostalgia reasons. Depending on who you start with, or how picky you are about mixing Comic and MCU versions, a starting 6 of just random Avengers will run you about $200. If you get lucky with some clearance figures, or not as popular members it may be less. For 'Core' members, there are tons of cheap Iron Man, lots of Captain America. Black Widows have gone up some. Good Thor's, Hulk's and Hawkeye's have gone up because of fewer realeases. Hoping the new MCU Hawkeye will help. Vision and Scarlet Witch are reasonable right now. Winter Soldier and some Falcons ditto. Trying to get rare members like Monica Rambeau or Mantis? Prepare to sell your first born!

This is very true and accurate information from a place of true knowledge on the matter! Sometimes there are some lucky bulk buys where people have Assembled the Avengers to collect all in one shot (and save on shipping!). I think for the strange people who just want to start their collections of anything for any reason at all, they might consider typing in "lot" in Ebay, like "Marvel Legends figure lot" and finding a bulk set of figures someone is getting rid of all at once. "Avengers Legends Lot" might work as well!

Another tip I would add; is DON'T be ashamed to buy from Flea Markets, Thrift Stores, or even Yard Sales if the figure is in great shape. I got a $70 Kraven (eBay price), for $5 not too long ago. He didn't have weapons, but I have a ton of extra Bows, spears, and other weapons Kraven traditionally uses. Also, even though the figures themselves are crap, you can cheap Dollar Tree 6" Ninjas, for a $1-$1.25, throw the figure away and keep the weapons! I am always looking, for sales, deals, I'll buy from anyone if it's something I think I can use.

I've found some amazing things at places like that, also some small time toy collector conventions and toy fairs where people sometimes sell some amazing things and surprisingly low prices, seemingly even when they know the apparent value or cost otherwise! I've made some bulk deals and gotten some discounts for buying more things at once, I'm just the chump they are looking for! Speaking of Ninjas, I've been looking for Masters of the Universe Classics Ninja Master or Ninjor, and possibly someday a Double Dragon Shadow Master, but things at the dollar store can sometimes make for excellent goons, props, extras. Yeah! I really would like to further encourage people to expand into absolutely anything they might find which they think might fit well in their collections or "do the trick" to represent something, who really cares if it is from another brand or producer if it looks right in the mix! I've been looking for affordable weapons collections that might fit my Marvel Legends since I've recently purchased so many variant figures of The Punisher and other militaristic figures like Nick Fury and U.S. Agent!

Here's something I'm going to try Foxy. There's this new Military Line called the Valaverse. I don't know if I have talked with you about them before. My original idea was to make them into a team of Mercs that you weren't sure which side they were on. But then I I had a better idea. When they were first going to do the G.I. Joe team that we know today, the idea was the leader to be Sgt Nick Fury, the son of Col. Fury of SHIELD. That was scrapped and the leader became Duke. Well, what if I use Condor of Valaverse as Sgt. Fury. Sgt. Slaughter and others side with him. He would be like, 'That was supposed to be MY team!' and so, I could build a team of heroes, who still don't like the Joe's!

I was looking at the Urban Camo Gray Valaverse figure to possibly use as Firefly from G.I. Joe (I have the various Fortnite versions of the figure who is named Havok in that series, and the Classified version), I liked the height of the Valaverse figure as I saw it in the D Amazing video (I think that might have been where I saw the figure placed with other figures and lines since he likes to do cross brand comparisons that I appreciate a lot). So I was almost about to get it, but a single figure for me was costing 90 CAD, but was a better deal when more weapons packs and accessory packs were available, except those sold out, so at this point only the gray Valaverse is available. I purchased the Fwoosh Ninja series customized to look like Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes along with some other accessories including a wolf, and I've been looking at a Classified Snake Eyes with the Wolf but I haven't gotten it yet. I think I really liked the way that they made Firefly's eyes in the Classified figure have a lot of character and personality. I still would absolutely love to army build with the Valaverse, they seemed pretty fun in the reviews I've seen. I'd even like David to get hold of some if he can find them affordably and make use of them, just to see how they might stand with some of his figures. I have a lot of pre-orders currently on the way as well, and I'm hoping that I might be able to slow down and save a little money this year, even though those pre-orders will make it seem that I'm spending just as much almost every month anyway. All the stuff that is coming in currently for me seems to fit a militaristic theme or "street" combat theme, with numerous Punisher variants, Nick Fury, U.S. Agent, Blade, and then maybe Hall of Champions / Elite Kane and Zemo as some of the villains since they are loose for now. I have a boxed Ghost Rider with Motorcycle that I think would fit well with this theme, and he might face off against a loose WWE Zombies Triple H with crown that is probably here as well! I have a lot of packages that I haven't opened up yet but I might do that right now! I'm very excited! I also got an Owen Wilson figure that arrived with the John Walker U.S. Agent with the head sculpt of the actor who plays him in the Television show. I Pre-Ordered two Baron Zemo Walgreens Exclusive figures and an Exclusive Doctor Strange in the retro style that seems to fit with the 20th Anniversary Captain America, Iron Man, and Hulk that I've also pre-ordered! I was (and still am) planning on making KZbin videos, but I've been spending so much on all this other stuff that I haven't been able to buy the further equipment I need, such as a nice microphone, external hard drive for storage of the recordings and video footage, and maybe some lamps, though I did find 6 LED lamps on clearance in a store, so we'll see if those work at providing sufficient lighting to make for a good looking video! David's videos set the standard of what at least should be matched with for the "look", I think his videos look great, and his sound is very good seeming to me as well! I did like one customization someone made due to the "Reverse Punisher" costume they painted on, so I thought the Symbiote Deadpool figure that is black and white might work for a base body, though I also liked this mostly yellow look and the campiness of this first appearance version a lot! Those retro carded figures lol.. I was able to get waves 1 and 2 for around $100. Waited til they went on clearance. To this day, they're still on-card. Then I found the exact same ones loose on eBay. Pretty darn cheap then... lol
