It starts with the run blocking for the OL. If they keep it manageable on down and distance, it will give them time to gel in the passing game.

I actually believe the youth of this line will make up the difference. It’s long overdue having to deal with Smith, Martin and even Steele constant injuries.

I believe if we are a healthy unit we’ll be a top ten OL. I get it, we haven’t been that consistently in awhile but I like Beebe and Guytons potential. And playing alongside Zack Martin they’ll get better. Much like Tyler Smith did. It won’t happen right away, they’ll be growing pains but by years end we can be bullies. That would make all the difference in the postseason.

I keep wondering when Solari is going to get some heat. They were better under Philbon. Injuries are a factor too but they haven’t been good at run blocking since he’s been here. It does seem like Jerry hires coaches with a limited imagination. Every coach hesitates to put younger players in even though from game snap one they’re better than the vet they’re replacing. Philbon didn’t want to play Smith and Solari starts with Edoga and Hoffman. Hopefully neither of which start game one. Get those rookies snaps!

Speculative, due to young players starting. Guyton and Bebee. Nathan Thomas could be a mayor surprise At RT. With those grades on Tyronne how the Heck Dallas let him go for money? Not even a trade to get some value for him. One more year for Tyronne and Guyton to learned from All time great. Shows how bad our front office is . Hope Guyton plays as well or better than Tyler Smith. If he does we will be better than last Year. With Bebee an up grade over Biadazz. Define worse, because if it is much worse we may not make Playoffs.

I'm not saying this will happen . But I wouldn't be surprised . If Hoffman wins the center job early on . And Beebe slides in at guard , and they kick Tyler Smith outside To tackle . Not long term . But wouldn't be surprised if that's what the unit looks like to start the season.

I’m glad that there’s a chance that we could be a better run blocking Oline and a worse pass protecting Oline (with an understanding long term both will be better) because we didn’t base our offense to run the ball the focus has been more of a passing team which is good to light up the lg in reg season but THIS IS THE REASON WE DONT HAVE SUCCESS IN THE PLAYOFFS bc it’s well known winning formula is to run the ball and stop the run and neither we’ve done on a championship lvl and that’s why we continue to loose in the playoffs. Even the Dez Bryant call was A PASS!

Steele came back too early from the ACL and you could tell he couldn't plant the leg. A full year removed...NO...he played ALL year when he shouldn't have because his team needed him because of the choices JJ & SJ make!! I'm sick of hearing Steele had a terrible year and needs to have a better year!! How come he doesn't get the same respect of an ACL injury that everyone else does!! You should be thanking him for playing hurt!

You all are making up things to talk about that aren't even an issue. This offensive line as a whole will be tremendously better this year. The new guys might not be all pros right now but they will be really good. Guyton doesn't need to be as good as Smith he just needs to be good enough to be above average in his rookie year kind of like the other Smith was at Tackle his rookie year. Guyton is better and had a higher grade than Smith coming out of college so I think anyone talking about him not being a solid left tackle as a rookie is wasting their breath and everyone else's time. Beebee is going to be really good on game 1 and going forward and the fact that he is between Martin and Smith is just ridiculous and they are going to dominate the middle of opposing defenses both in the run game and in pass protection. The biggest issue with the offensive line last in both the run and pass game was the center, he was the root of all the horrible run blocking and consistently got beat up the middle in the pass game. Both of those issues are now fixed with Beebee.
