I feel like yt shorts are better to be used as like promoting your channel and introducing it to new people and let the long form videos make the income but the problem is alot are more engaged in shorts since it saves time and some don't want to watch videos that take a long time to finish

I disagree. it can be used that way but can also be used for starting careers and making income. YT shorts and short form content in general is very popular since Tiktok became big and you see from that and people made 54k a month. Same with shorts now, people like Ali Koca make lots of money off their shorts content and is happy with what they make. There are more shorts based channels now and the focus is on them so that's why it's profitable.

I almost exclusively watch KZbin and Facebook shorts only now. I don't like having alot of social media's so I don't really f with tiktok especially when alot of them are in fbook and youtube shorts any way. With chat gpt for info I don't even watch the shorts that much any more honestly.

The reason why he only got paid $31 is because a KZbin short gets paid less than a actual KZbin video. Example: Bob makes KZbin shorts that has 1M views and 30sec but gets paid $25 and Jerry makes KZbin videos that has 50k views but has 30+ min he'll get paid over 3-5k because they can add ads into the KZbin video vs KZbin shorts vids. KZbin video generates more cash flow due to ads that can be placed on longer vids. For those who don't understand how shorts and videos work.

The interesting thing about your short (and all of mine as well) is that most of its traffic (43.6%) has come from KZbin search and not from the Shorts feed (22.7%). Which means that if KZbin stops forcing the shorts in the search results, as they are currently doing, the shorts are pretty much gone.

Hi, do you only post shorts? Any long-form? To be qualified for shorts revenue, you need: 1. Get 1,000 subscribers with 4,000 valid public watch hours in the last 12 months, or 2. Get 1,000 subscribers with 10 million valid public Shorts views in the last 90 days. If you only post shorts, you need 10 million views every 90 days to be eligible

Hi, thanks for watching, in this video, I am saying that the ADS paid $30, however the REAL money comes from growing your subscribers, building your email list, and marketing to the email list and audience. So I use shorts to simply grow my audience and email list. Then the actual marketing is done to the email list
