I can't express the impact of the ability to view a cutaway/interactive model compared to 2D Engineered drawings. I find it helps understanding all the moving parts without having to learn how to interpret a 2D drawing

One thing i dont understand seriously if you put so much effort in creating a 3d animation, why you dont simply add the fluid too and show how it ACTUALLY works ? There are so many tutorials in youtube to show you how to add fluid in your animations and it will make them look more professional instead of pausing and showing with the mouse what the fluid does.

Video is super but it will be very clear when you explain each section seperately

You said that the impeller is used to reduce the velocity and increase pressure, but I thought the purpose of the impeller is to increase the velocity due to centrifugal force, and once it is passed to the diffuser, the kinetic energy is converted to pressure since that part is stationary
@johncruz29614 жыл бұрын
i think its the diffuser that will slow the velocity but increase the pressure.

You can do the same thing with the RS-25 High Pressure Turbopump engine, I need to understand how the diffuser is made and how the vein guides are formed between one case and another

GREAT PITY you didn't give an idea of what kind of pressure can be attainable .. 10's or 100's or 1000's of bar?

Not to forget another type is BB3 pump (a multistage axial split horizontal centrifugal pump)

Because of the increase in pressure energy in everyone of the compartments would the fluid transported through this pump usually increase in temperature?

@@savree-3d I will go through a bit of your content too. I barely have subscribers on my channel but it matters not to me. I am in a third world country where I cannot monetize anyway. I do it for fun, documentation and to put back something in the community.

If the velocity is reduced at the outlet, how does the liquid flow upwards? Or do we use some other equipment to increase the velocity?
@armandoramos84515 ай бұрын
El líquido recibe Energía en forma de velocidad en el impulsor y al perder esa velocidad en el difusor o voluta, la energía se transforma en presión, porque recuerda que la energía no se crea ni se destruye, solo se transforma.
@durtydylo823116 күн бұрын
Idk what the guy before me said lol but fluids flow from high pressure to lower pressure, so if your discharge or outlet piping has lower pressure than the final stage on the pump, then it will flow from the final stage to your discharge.

I have lessons about them in class and i am trying to understand them more... They teach us not in english language and translating into english these centrifugal pumps may have one piece of low pressure stage and several pieces of high pressure stages. Is it the exact same as multistage centrifugal pump? because "multistage" can be understood as "one low pressure stage and several high pressure stages". The first stage has the lowest pressure and the others are high pressure stages. Do i understand it clearly? I understand that its the same just the terminology is a bit different. thanks
@armandoramos84515 ай бұрын
Multietapa o multipasos es lo mismo. El primer impulsor incrementa la presión de succión y lo aplica directamente al segundo impulsor y sucesivamente, por lo cual, la presión se incrementa_____ Gradualmente____ hasta el último impulsor.

Which compressor is best for air compresion (centrifual or reciprocating)
@Ssraja-kk4cj5 жыл бұрын
@@savree-3d this type centrifual compressor how many bar and volume makes this type centrifual compressor approx?
@copievillamaria4 жыл бұрын
@@Ssraja-kk4cj If you need small volume, high pressure then Screw/reciprocating any positive displacement compressor. High volume low pressure then a single stage centrifugal compressor. If you need high pressure and high volume then Axial Multistage Compressor( 10,000kPa.) I worked in a cryogenic plant, used Axial Multistage compressor for volume.

If increasing the impeller for the multistage pump will the flow increase?
@ameerm489911 ай бұрын
yes but only if the head is within flow chart range. Because otherwise your multistage pump will waste energy and cause cavitation
