Thank you for sharing this knowledge ♥️ i think not people in general need to learn & understand that mental health issues exist but there are Doctors who are also ignorant in this matter. Sometimes even people who think they have all the islamic knowledge say, “you can’t be depressed if u have Islam” and they make people feel guilty. May Allah guide them out of there ignorance, Aameen.

Very informative and fruitful, and when I go deeper down, I came up with the conclusion that leaving on the first place, the Islamic practice in everyday life gives you many illnesses, including mental illness. Every single guidence and practice is for the wellbeing of humankind, for example," A Muslim can't reach the level of Emaan until he love for others, what he love for himself" , only this single piece significantly helps in several ways in anyone's life,you don't want any bad happens to you and same feeling you have for others gives you peace at heart , patience, tranquility, gratitude,better sleep, positive minset,being kind and helpful which is again good for mantal health which boost you confidence, you not gonna have unhealthy competition that I'm better than others or selfishness you not living for yourself but also for the betterment of the humankind which gives you true happiness of a better person not on the color or race but on the basis of Taqwa.

Yes you are correct in your own way but we also have to acknowledge the fact that every living human being is created with a test and those with depression, anxiety and other conditions are tests to those individuals that will challenge themselves challenge their faith and their resolution. I myself have been diagnosed with depression. They filled me with medication and treated me like a test subject about which medication will make you happy and which won't. Alhamduila I have been off of medication for the past 5 years and the past 5 years I filled the void with Allah SWT love and grace. No medication in the world can make me will what I feel now for Allah SWT. If we get a good grasp on how to educate our children on spirituality not one that is forced and one that the parent should lead by example. My father used to never pray and I used to never pray I was very very far away from Allah SWT and I don't blame my father for anything he didn't force me to pray nor fast but he would always tell me how guilty he feels for himself not praying and not fasting and Alhamduila my father has been praying for the past 7 years non stop and not missing a prayer even at work he will stop what he does and prays.
@aleksandryaroslav12893 жыл бұрын
Dr. Rania did not in any way negate the spiritual crisis or existential cause of depression. She made that very clear. It is wonderful that you are now off meds, but other suffering patients of endogenous causes need to have medicinal support that directly addresses the biological causes of depression. Yes, that an illness is a test is a given, but the argument here is wider and more expansive

Exposure and Response Prevention therapy is the non-pharmacological treatment that is used by clinicians. Try to find a psychologist who can confirm this diagnosis and who does this treatment and see if he/she will treat your brother. May Allah grant shifa iA.

the promised messiah and Mahdi was Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. isa ibn marayam is not coming back because he's dead. (he didn't die on the cross) God never punishes a people until He sends down a messanger (this is the sunnatullah, also mentioned in the holy quran) the Muslims are being punished like no other people Syria,Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, rohingya, China, kashmir, Bosnia etc... it seems as time proceeds more punishment is Incurred.
