I love Chase. My fur babies protected my real babies like their own. The cat was always near my daughter and would check on her throughout the night. My dog wouldn't let anyone near my children. He also wouldn't let them go to the kitchen or bathroom where they could be hurt.

That's because speaking Cat has so much to do with body language. The body posture of Dad was already a bit threatening, and then he was suddenly more tense when he took out the belt. So, Dad was certainly acting well enough for Chase to react to it! It wasn't the loud voice that bothered him, it was the tension. Possibly also smell.

I just discovered this amazing family & their beautiful, hilarious fur babies! I can't stop watching your videos. They're ALL so funny & cute! My fave ones are 'spa day.' When They're just chilling with cucumber slices on their eyes. I laugh so hard I cry. Lol!! I just wanted to say thank you guy's from the bottom of my heart for helping me feel happy & alive again. I've been suffering from severe depression for the past year due to PTSD & grief from my father passing away in December. I was also recently diagnosed with heart failure adding to my other existing, serious medical conditions I suffer from. As a typical rightist, you've said a statement, added an insult but not a single argument supporting your statement. I think cats are great substitutes for children. They are little, cute, whiny, they need to eat and poop, sometimes they won't let you sleep - they are just like toddlers. Now, cats will be like that their all lives, that is 15 to 20 years which is ideal. If the cats were people, they would be somewhere between puberty and adolescence, ready to leave the house. That's the time when parents start hating on their own children. Most parents don't want their children to grow up, to have their own minds and preferences. If they do want them to grow up, it's just because they want them to pay the "debt" - the children have to have their own cute little kids for their parentst to play with and also take care of the parents. So cats are even better than kids, because they'll never grow up, so they satisfy the parenting needs. They live long enough, approximately like a supposed child's childhood would last. What they don't satisfy is the debt. And that's what most conservatives don't like - the notion, that there's no slaves to take care of them when they are old.

Honestly I’m on the dads side. People will hate me for saying this but I don’t like kids other then my two baby cousins and no matter how adorable they are with the cute laughs and little baby voices kids are to much work. Goodbye rest, free time, and freedom when you're on the hook for babies and toddlers. The experience just solidified my decision not to have children and be a dedicated fur mom. I have my kitties and love them above all else. My boys make me happier than anyone. We should all choose the path that will bring each of us the most happiness. P.s. Don't parentify your children, just, for anyone reading this. It's psychologically damaging for a child to be made to be responsible for another child and shackles them to a responsibility they didn't choose. Not implying that about anyone on this thread. Just look at it as a PSA.
