My Great Grand Father Name was Sardar Lal Singh ji, My Grand Father Name was Sardar Hukum Singh (BA/LLB, 1906/1909 from Amritsar Khalsa college) His younger brother's name was Sardar Jeewan Singh (was Homoeopathic Doctor) Very huge Shri Gurudwara Sahib & Hindu Shri Ram temple nearby was build by our family long long back & very closed & co ordeal family relations with Nawab of TANK family. If you find some memories NOW related to all these will be most thanksful (almost 72/73years old)

my maternal grandfather also migrated from Gurdaspur's near village and he settled here in Pakistan and he told me all his stories about his journey and his friends and how the sikhs there help him and his family during migration he said that britishers were killing and he was saved along with his family BY the SIKHS and he said that they were their really good friends more like family..... than a stranger. Now listening to your grandfather i was remembered of his memory my grandfather passed away in 2018.....so this was a really meaning full and emotional video for me...

My grand father also migrated from India to Pakistan in Indo Pak partition our ancestorial lands located in district Jalandhar city gurdaspur and the name of village is GADANA near river bias and my grandfather cried over alot by remembering his father and other family martydoom when they travel to Pakistan and this line my grandfather used to say just leave me on the bridge of river bias and blind fold me I will find my home. My grandfather passed away on October 2019 and the last words he says that was to take him near attari border for one last time where he want to hold the soil and keep it

My late ,grand father and his late farther was born in hebo kebala, syed wala ,nankana tehsel ,dist shekhopura,when i was 17 years old i used to listen stories of migration of village people, my grandfather told me ,we all kind of religious people used to sit together and work together in agriculture fields, used to Take care each other,muslims sardars,hindus ,Christians etc,before 1947 British soldiers used to come in villages on their horses and were chit chat with local village people. Sometimes used to come in panchiat.

My grandmother uses to tell me alot of stories of pre partition era . My forefathers were from Ferozpur tehsil Fazilka ( Now district) . You and your grandpa can come and see their childhood hometown anytime. Most welcome. ❤️

I live in Lahore, and my grandfather belonged to jalandhar, while my grandmother lived in malirkotla. Grandfather has been died, while my grandmother still alive, she is almost more than 100 right now. She told us the stories of partition because during partition she was married and she had a baby girl.

@@shabbirahmed6420 Dear if you can findout some memories of our forefathers house/shops/Gurudwara sahib from TANK, MY grandfather name Sardar Hukum Singh ji/ father's name Sardar Man Singhji his younger brother name Sardar Santokh Singh ji. any clue of their belongings (Nishani) if at present available or persons knowing them? My grandfather was the only person who was BA/LLB 1906/1909) at the time we left TANK in 1947 at the time of partition.

Wa aleikum us salam. My ancestors migrated from Amritsar in 1947 and right now we live in Gujranwala. My grand mother told same stories about brotherhood of Muslims and Sikhs that time. They also left everything behind as told by Sardar ji... anyway... Thank you for interviewing him and sharing his lovely gestures.
