How does one check if the business is profitable or will be profitable before a purchase? How do you check the financials? What financials do you check? That is something that needs to be discussed.

Go to KZbin, and google laundromats. There are plenty of channels that have a breakdown of how to buy a laundromat.

You don’t make the money in the change machine. Your gross income for the week is what you actually have in the coin boxes not what’s in the bill changers. People will often get $20 in quarters and if they don’t use them all they’ll take them with you, so that is not gross profit.

Yet another KZbin video counting the cash in the change machine as revenue, which is incorrect. The coins in the machines are the true revenue. Example: let’s say that your change machine holds $1000 worth of quarters. I come in and feed $1000 cash into that change machine and then I walk out the door with $1000 in quarters and not do one load of laundry. How much revenue did your laundromat make? NONE!
