If Mang Inasal was so better 5yrs ago, Imagine how good it was back when it was just starting. We have been to Mang Inasal even before they were own by Jollibee Corp, back when Jose Manalo is the sole model/endorser. Back when it's not that crowded yet, when the portions are bigger and cheaper, great times.

By the way Jess, it is common for us Filipinos to eat using their hands because its a tradition of our ancestors that are passed to generations. In the past, Filipinos eat using their hands until we were colonized by the Spaniards, Americans and Japanese where they brought and introduced the utensils/flatwares to us. Good thing we still preserved and practice that way of eating up to this day. Also, Filipinos love combo meals and unli stuff because it is cheaper that way, BUT the quality and taste of the food is amazing. Don't you agree? We are always careful with money because our country is poor. I hope this information helps you. I also hope you remember my comments whenever you post new videos like this. Jessica Lee Also, I forgot to tell you that Halo-halo is the best Filipino dessert. The Gong Cha pearl your sister told you about is called "sago" the pink one. It is a very important ingredient of the delicacy and kids love it. Sago is always partnered with "gulaman" the green jelly like thing in it (that is buko pandan flavor. Others ingredients are beans (that are known to make children smart but they do not like its taste), rice crisps, langka (jackfruit), banana, ube halaya (usually nowadays they use ube ice cream instead) and leche flan (pudding). You can easily make it at home if you have these ingredients. Add crushed ice and pour milk (preferrably evaporated milk) and add sugar to taste. It's like Korea's patbingsu but the only difference is you can feel the crunch of ice in Philippines' Halo-halo.

Share ko lang.... I have 3 teenage kids, half white and half pinoy. When I took them to the Philippines 4 years ago finding food to eat was so difficult, they were just so picky but not until we discovered Mang Inasal. Every time we go there they just ate those chickens like there's no tomorrow but I just loved the shocked reaction of the cashier every time they said no rice but thank goodness they are learning how to eat rice now. But I'm sad that they no longer have the banana leaves, that was the charm of it besides of course the delicious taste of the chicken.

When youre younger and at that age, you tend to look different due to not hitting puberty yet, not self conscious yet about appearance as a girl, you do a lot of outdoor activities and being exposed to the sun more or she my have gotten the skin color of a parent that has a darker skin tone. But if you have just a little observation skill you would know right away that the gir is her sister by blood..😁

It's her real sister. There are a lot of cases like that where young kids tend to have darker skin color and as you mature and hit puberty then it becomes lighter. Even kpop idols suffer from this, actually a lot of them

It’s called “sago” the circle-like reddish topping that taste great and so chewy in the halo halo. It has a different color in Gongcha but it’s the same. It’s sago. I love Mang Inasal and whenever I think of eating at Mang Inasal, I try to not eat a lot before eating there so I can get like more rice and the price will be “sulit” or worth it. I usually eat like 5 extra rice everytime I eat there but my limit is 8 extra rice and I’ll be bloated after 🤣🤣🤣
