Thank you for taking all the steps with us. I’m getting out of a covert narcissist marriage of whom I still care about but he’s also a high functioning alcoholic so the divorce will be so hard but I need help learning to work on myself and move forward and not attracting another toxic relationship. Part of the time he meant well but he mirrored what I needed in the beginning and then it went downhill from there for 15 years. Definitely taking notes on this one.

I know it affects my future relationship as I'm seeing someone new and started a fight out of nowhere, accusing him of being with a other woman when he gave me no reason to think that! Not trying to use it as an excuse for my behavior but that's my reality! Now he thinks I'm psychotic because we’re new & fresh in the relationship! Not sure If I messed things up for good.
