Oh yes, the idea stealing. Even when I told him expressly to stop telling everyone else that my ideas were his, in front of me!, he continued to do that. I loathe people who steal other people's intellectual property. Rebecca Zung has got to be one of the best lawyers in the country for her to understand this pathology coming from a field where the percentage of narcissists is high. Also I have never heard anyone else cite Robert Sapolsky's research of how narcissistic breadcrumbing and hoovering is so addictive. They have no real emotions , they can fake them. Ahhh def SMH.......56 years of abuse. My parents, my ex who was a jerk and had also raped me on occasion and was known to beat my kids too hard when he was upset , now today another abusive man fresh out of prison over 20 years ago who i am in a codependent relationship to this day and is a BAD covert narc. I don't think they will ever or want to change. My parents went to their grave and i wasn't able to shed one tear. *shrugs* the more i tried in my head to find some good out of their parenting and realized how mean they really were. I have been bounced from narc to narc in my life. Now time to walk away from it all. Guys they won't change. After 56 years i realize this. Saving every dime guys, wish me luck and i wish good luck to all the survivors here. Once you stop trying to fix them or understand them, your eyes will be open and you can walk away too. Get even by living your best life without them people *hugs*. Let their silence be your peace.

None stop interrogations every time you leave the house without them you gotta have a reason to leave. It must be justified by them first, you cannot leave the house unless you have a reason and it’s a good reason or if it’s something they can do for you they’ll do it you can stay home. It was like my world was just one little block of a house and a yard. for like six years and when I broke free, oh and got a job and my phone would ring before I could get outside the door of the building and if I didn’t answer, he would just call over and over and say well you can tell them you gotta answer the phone and then I gotta come straight home there’s no stopping and talking to anybody a friend of course if he wanted to if he supposed to tell him if I gotta stop somewhere I have to call him and let him know if I change my route where I’m going or what time I’m gonna be back. I have to tell him that I’ve learned not to even tell him what time I get back because it causes so many problems. Oh my God I got like the smear campaign, because I didn’t tell him I went to Walmart before I came back home even though he wasn’t expecting me for anything he was actually Work I didn’t matter but I guess all of you know this all of you have heard this before it’s like I became the Target of all of his hate but yeah, he love me so much I’m his one and only I am literally trapped unless I wanna live a tent somewhere in the woods. Totally dependent upon him. I didn’t start out that way, of course and the watching you saying he tells me all the time that he watches me while I sleep and I did notice that he would listen to strangers and not two people who knew him more values their opinions that he know that was something tooI’m just learning so much blowing my mind

Do you have other topics because I was curious about property law suits with family and the police telling me I was gonna be arrested if I picked the vegetables out of my garden after I was evicted . And got trespassing and I or wa law clearly says a farmer has rights to his crops into the next season . They intimidated me pretty good on that one and. I would like to get funds for the stress and damage they created because I relief in those vegetable and so did the daycare lady across the street because small kids need peas and. Corn and stuff so they can read their books and grow straight teeth

I have been cruising around the narcissist KZbins trying to figure out if my husband was one. While he fits the criteria pretty well, I have a question: has this narcissist trend become sort of a catch-all fad? Because the diagnosis of a true narcissist is actually pretty rare. I know of many people who cannot take accountability, but they don't have the other characteristics of narcissism. Perhaps this label needs to be shelved for the next 5 years. We might learn a lot more than terms such as "gaslighting."

And you apparently express that you are offended??? Never expressed that I was offended, and indeed I am not. I was attempting to open up a discussion. The offended person appears to be you - not only evident with the triple question marks (more common with teenagers, but let's move on), but because I clearly challenged something that is your turf; your "thing" on youtube. I do see an excellent (and open to discussion) therapist, and know a few socially. All have remarked, "Practically every couple who comes into my office describes his/her spouse as a narcissist." It made me wonder if the word is losing meaning. Never did I say to shelve the subject of abuse or any type of psychopathy, esp in a relationship. Rather, I suggested shelving the word "narcissist" because the majority of the population is more nuanced. One "narc" might be dealing with a melange of other issues, while another might be in the throes of unhealthy loops/communication/reactions. Calm down. One thought-provoking comment does not merit the aggression of "Maybe they can help YOU figure out... Who is the narcissist in your marriage?" You undercut yourself with such defensiveness. ... and you just proved my point. Sorry to do an experiment with an unknown poster, but I was wondering how long it would take before someone used the narc word on me. Everyone I know of has strange or negative ways of behaving/communicating at times (and - right or wrong - most all of us have said, "Calm down"). From what I have observed, the word is becoming overused. Doesn't mean narcs don't exist, but I'm finding it to be a catch-all diagnosis to cover a multitude of complexities. @@DoubleDownDawn

Keep watching, get yourself healthy, lots of good people out there, be a regular person yourself and you'll attract such, it's normal to put your best foot forward but when you get into a new relationship beware of that goal post they keep raising, that's a red flag! Eat well, exercise, forest walk and stuff, remember what you enjoyed as a kid, reading 📚, gazing at nature, shine on and no contact, the wee hrs are the worst but it wanes I promise!
