This is a very helpful video! I gave the now ex the benefit of the doubt around kissing thinking it was partly shyness. Now I realize he's a covert narc and it was really just another aspect of control. It was really off putting to be rebuffed from kissing!

My Narc refused to kiss me as a punishment for some alleged transgression!!! A cold snub to hurt me. I have lost all respect for him and am not the least bit interested in anything else. He didn’t even kiss me when we had sex…notice I did not say making love!!!

Maybe... From my experience that's your first sign that something is wrong. I stopped kissing because I no longer wanted that intimate relationship nor did I find her attractive.

I am so thankful for this topic; for I have wrestled to understand why the woman I love offered sex with ease, but couldn’t fulfill a single kiss. At that time, I didn’t know she had NPD. It was painful to watch her come close to kiss me; then withdraw covering her face with timid embarrassment. I responded to her advances but with the condition that she kiss me first to show she is ready for true intimacy with me. Her two attempts were interrupted by knocks on her door she couldn’t reschedule. So I left the scene with her telling me she’ll call me later to resume our passion. She never called. Months went by. She ignored my messages to reach her. I asked her to talk to me so I can understand. Then out-of-the-blue, the police called me asking me to help them understand a stalking report that she accused me of. Truly, this was the most expensive non-kiss I have ever experienced, as I gave a full account on the love I thought we shared, that was never consummated because of my kiss requirement. Surprisingly, the police understood, for they said I was not the first false report she had made like this; although I was the only woman. Thankfully, with this knowledge, she was able to get the mental help she sorely needed. I was glad in the end I had no kiss to tell the police we shared.
