It’s kind of annoying to hear kids talk about 80s and 90s basketball when they don’t know what the hell they are talking about. I didn’t pull my statement out of thin air. I usually don’t address unwarranted hostile foolishness like this in my comment section but don’t insult my intelligence. And if you’re older than I am the fact you even fixed your fingers to type this ignorance is shameful.

Yall really just want to hate on Lebron, I don’t think a “goat” debate is possible because of player versatility. But if we have to have this debate, Lebron is a better playmaker, better deep shooter, just as good at finishing, just as good at defense if not a better paint defender. The only feat. Mike has over bron is his abilities to shoot from the midrange…. Like it is clear to me now anyone that says Mike is better, is genuinely just a lebron hater. If bron played in 80’s and 90’s he would have 15 rings easily. This era of basketball has much more highly trained players that have had this goal to be the best since they were 5 years old. There is no comparison, we done w the 80s. Kobe on the other hand I would consider to be in the goat debate. If this debate was based off of the hype and popularity of the game & in general, easily MJ but pure 5v5 NBA basketball, no

So I understand that Michael wasn’t in games because he wanted to negotiate his own deal, so by Gary sending a picture of Michael and himself help fulfill the negotiations between NBA Jam and Michael? Did Gary convince Michael to sign the deal? 🤷🏻

Gary and Michael wanted to play as themselves in the game as they were friends. I'm glad this story was told, because NBA Jam is one of the most successful games in history and Jordan wasn't in it. Yeah, the drug problem was mostly in the 70’s. Now the teams that weren’t any good in the 80’s probably had a few of them here and there, but people had really started to calm down with the open drug use by the mid 80’s. Once Reagan and his wife started the war on drugs and crazy prison sentences started people weren’t all on drugs like that.

I dare u to go watch side by side comparisons of 80s and 90s ball compared to today... unless u are just plain delusional, you will see that players today give very little effort...plus they've dumbed the game down so much. Hell jus listen to the sounds on the court... 80s and 90s, all u can hear is sneakers skidding and the men grunting and shit while they fight for rebounds or whatever it may be. In today's game u hear a sneaker skid every once in a while... this nba is a complete joke...its uncompetitive, all the players care about are personal stats and their money. Hell u could take an All Star Game from the 90s and do a comparison with Playoff basketball from this era and the guys in the 90s are STILL giving more effort in the all star game then these dude give in the playoffs. So given the competition is complete shit, then lebron is garbage... the 12th man on the bench in the 80s and 90s could step into this modern era and average 20+ ppg easily.. and if u think im joking or hating, seriously go watch a side by side comparisons... for these guys today to be compared to players of the past is jus disrespectful and flat out laughable... the effort jus isn't there... and it's as simple as that. All these narratives u hear about this league now being superior to the past is jus that... a narrative. The NBA and all these sports channels, espn, fox sports, THEY ARE LYING TO YOU...
