I have a question: Does Timothee Chalamet have a face-shaped-face? I was wondering.

This was very informative and I'm so glad I'm not the only person who feels disconnected from humanity in a way that isn't negative and that is very much affected by me being autistic. Also, I would totally name that octopus Octavia.

7:17 - 7:27 : That is not a coincidence at all, I realised I stared and drew more feminine people more often because guys are usually socioculturally repressed by society from expressing themselves more stylish, while, on the other hand, women are usually pushed by society to take more time and effort into their looks because their value as women has been socioculturally and historically reduced to what they look like, ever since a long while ago. Not long ago, since women were not allowed to work jobs, if you did not put all your efforts into looking like an attractive woman, you would not be selected to marry a prestigious guy, and, therefore, you could probably be left alone with starvation since women were not allowed to work jobs.
@gio-ve7vn2 жыл бұрын
just to 100% be pedantic, women were allowed to work jobs if it was necessary to their survival. It was just that the work afforded to women was highly restricted to fairly low paid jobs, likely manual labor and not "white collar" jobs. Thus, a working woman/wife was not socially ideal and will impact you and your family's social station.

This was a super interesting watch! I honestly can't believe I have never considered that my understanding of gender and sexuality may be affected by me being autistic. Thinking about it now, it makes so much sense; after all, my autism affects more or less every aspect of my life to some degree, so why wouldn't that include gender and sexuality? You guys gave me a lot to think about, and I am excited to continue exploring my own identity with this information in mind

Also I just have to mention that I relate so hard to what Be said about faces and being most attracted to people with distinct expressions and features. I've always had a hard time understanding what it is that makes certain celebrities so attractive to so many people, and I'm glad there's someone out there who can relate hahah. Honestly, every single time I watch a video from this channel I feel so validated and seen and understood, and for someone who has spent most of their life feeling extremely lonely and out of place, that really means a lot.

I’m so happy to hear that!! Particularly that we prompt you to think about your identity, and that you feel validated because that is super important to us. I (Elle) have felt out of place, too, and I want to make a space where my alien self and others like me can exist. So thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for this! I’m autistic and heavily relate to alexythymia, as well as being enby, and y’all described the experience of gender as a child in a way I really connect with! Also, alexythymia interfering with knowing what type of attraction you have to someone is SO REAL!!

@@SpaceyAces Not really. It starts with O as in octopus, that’s about it. I wanted to give it a little bit of an original name as well, so I tried until I found something that sounded neat. You could also say that the k works as the c in octopus, I guess? Happy you liked it! 💜🐙

As an Aroace with an Interllectul disability and who has autistic traits, I completely agree that it affects gender identity and sexuality. Thanks for doing this video 😊

Bee literally just described one of the biggest reasons I find certain people's physical attributes attractive and others not. Face-shaped faces. Though for me it doesn't always have to be the face. Someone that is interesting to look at, not just pretty. Also, just after that Elle just described my aesthetic attraction. Androgynous or fem, though not exclusively. Okay. So I was going to say what I agreed with in this video and such, but I'm just kind of agreeing with everything. So I think it is a lost cause. Also, I love the octopus. They can be flipped inside out. They are awesome.

I'm on the autism spectrum. I'm also aromantic asexual who biologically identifies as male but is non-binary in terms of gender identity (I think demiboy is the term for that).

I have severe ADHD and think I’m also on the autism spectrum. Possibly some dyspraxia since I’m left handed, clumsy, and born a VLBW premie. I’ve always been kind of a loner and struggled with making friends. Had a lot of female friends. I’ve had more female-associated jobs, was in show choir, but I have never felt gay or LGBTQIA+. Mysteriously, i suspect most women I’ve been involved with are on the ASD spectrum. I hate the shame of sex by our society. I want and frankly need a romantic/intimate partner of the opposite sex. I need a partner to help keep me organized with my ADHD. But it’s way too hard for me to meet anyone equally weird as me, who is sex-positive, open minded. Mainly I need to meet women who aren’t going to act like a prude bitch rejecting me, who aren’t going to scream yelling “rape!!!” when I just want to kiss and make out!! I don’t like being touched either, but at the same time I’m touch deprived and touched starved! I just want hugs, cuddles, and kisses from a woman who isn’t damaged from being molested as a kid. Since I’m autistic/ADHD, some evil women have manipulated and used me for what I can provide them, call me nonstop as if they’re really into me, while simultaneously acting like a prude bitch who denies all physical intimacy as if we’re still in middle school. Time to grow up and be adults, end shame around sex from religion. I need to hear your sort of chat here, but from autistic men. This online autism space is dominated by queer women. And I don’t trust having a relationship with a bi/queer non-hetero woman because I’m afraid they’ll abandon me (a straight man) in favor of a woman. As for neopronouns and the pronoun games, they confuse everyone. Many autistics experience “pronoun avoidance” where they frequently use the wrong one, as in their neurological brain structure is physically incapable of letting them use pronouns the “right” way - leading innocent autistic people who can’t help it to be BANNED from supposedly autism-friendly spaces all over the internet for “transphobic hate speech”. Some people have language and communication disorders, learning disabilities, etc so it’s really ableist and inconsiderate to censor and ban them from expressing themselves in the way that works for them.

it's pretty cool how some cultures don't consider someone a woman untill she has a baby. I hope they don't get westrenized. that is what I'm supposed to say so I'm not bad right?
