His mother died when Nate was 18… and he told everyone to leave the studio when he record the words at the end. He is so amazing.

You should definitely listen to his newest song about his mom called "mama". It will still probably make you cry, but they will be different tears. How could you leave us = the conflict Mama = the resolution

Take the NF Journey. You don't have to do it on your channel (it's a quite long track list, and only a handful of them will bring your channel traction, tbh) but it's life changing - and truly, that is not overstating the impact he has had on people. You can find track lists for it online. You should for sure listen to Mama from his latest album, Hope, next as it's a sequel of sorts to this track. Then go back to Intro, and roll forward from there.

You mentioned it was like listening in on a therapy session. He has a song called Therapy Session in which among other things he tells people they should expect harrowing emotional content because they ARE listening in on a therapy session. His music allows him to express his emotions and sort them out. As he said in this one, his music is the only place he can go to speak with his mother. He has also had a fair bit of professional therapy. However, he was extremely reluctant to start any psychoactive drug treatment, lest he go the route his mother took. I am not sure, but I think he finally accepted some sort of antidepressant. He is sometimes dismissed as a Christian Rapper. But he makes the point that he is a Christian who raps. These are not liturgy or praise songs or other 'Christian Rap' niches. They are at times prayers, and meditations, and confessions. But they are primarily Nate (NF = Nate Feuerstein) addressing his emotional issues. But that too is a ministry, as we cannot be serene and holy until we have addressed the burdens we carry. Further his music also helps others to address their issues - I have seen so many comments on reactions in which either the commenter has kicked a drug habit based on the kick in the teeth this song gives, showing the pain from the child's side.

Always hard to listen to that song. Always crying. 😢 So important to have those songs.
@audivawalsh29835 ай бұрын
Whoever told you to do this one first was out to kick your ass. This is THE HARDEST possible song in his entire repertoire to listen to. He is actually crying in this one. The album this song is from is actually called Therapy Session, and the albums self titled song explains a lot of how and why he raps. Please don't give up on or be wary of NF because you think all of his songs are like this - they aren't. And he has a lot of important things to say that matter to all of us (that aren't political). I found him earlier this year and his music broke me into little pieces and put me back together much stronger. NF is a white rapper also from Michigan who had his first radio hit with a song called "Mansion" in the U.S. back in 2015. His primary influence was Eminem, and initially MM called him "a mini me". But in one of his most recent songs "Tobey" MM says "I hope that I inspire hope" - Hope being the title of NF's most recent album. NF also clean raps - no expletives. And unlike MM he can sing ;) Oh and the MV of the song Hope was done in South Australia at the sisters :)

at the end he talks about how his mom wouldn't be there when he had kids. Now he is blessed with a son and a daughter and married. So it was fitting you watched this and then I watched your mama reaction too. Great to see the differences in how he processed it all.

My NF friend! Hello ms. Swift Reactions, I subbed on your first Ren reaction ma’am.Then I cried with you on your first Angelina Jordan video Unchained Melody. By far my favorite female artist on the planet, and waiting on more from you on her. But I say all that to say this…… NF is by far my favorite artist ma’am, and I haven’t viewed a video of yours when you cried as much. Now I’m 46 and haven’t really gotten into rap in years until NF and of some of Rens songs. So I ask you to please visit his song MAMA next, it’s a must follow up song to How Could You Leave Us. His catalog is identical to a best selling novel! No kidding. And like a comment below already said you won’t get a ton of views from doing it on your channel but Ms. Swift it changed my perspective on life in general. I’m a better husband, better father, and just a better human being in general. I can say for a fact that no other artist has ever made a difference in my life like he has. Sorry for the long comment but this guy is worth your time and I’d follow every video of yours that you did on him, and Angelina Jordan ma’am!

Well hello my NF friend. I have a couple more Angelina Jordan reactions that are coming up soon and I will be doing more NF as I really loved his writing. So glad to hear that you are been with me since my first REN reaction, that's actually one of my favorite videos. And a big thank you for checking and resubscribing. I sometimes wonder if KZbin manipulates the subscriptions on purpose as I have heard about this for years and they would obviously know and therefore fix it if it was a glitch. I have not watched I Put A Spell On You yet so maybe that one might be next. Thanks for your comment and your support and a big hello from the South Coast of NSW Australia. 👋

@@SwiftReactions Australia Wow! I can’t help it so, Good Day Mate🤣Yes that was a horrible example of my dad jokes uncontrollable nature. I tend to gravitate towards reactors that are honest and transparent, and that is what attracted me to your channel ma’am. And unfortunately I just started a reaction channel myself 4 months ago, and had no clue that was going on with KZbin until I heard you mention it. However, I can positively say that is not happening on my channel since I only have 300 subs and it would be easily noticed. I’m still not use to talking into a camera in my phone to make these videos nor am I great at editing yer either. But you are welcome to come to my channel my NF friend and hangout anytime that you like, all I ask is that you don’t review any of my Angelina or NF videos so that me and your entire online family are robbed from those sensational reactions that you bestow on us! God Bless!!

How weird is it to talk on camera? I still get the ick before I film and when I edit. What's the name of your channel? I would love to check it out. I'm glad you enjoy my channel but I really have no idea what I'm doing still and yeah editing is a whole other thing to learn which I'm still muddling through. I promise not watch any of your reactions NF or Angelina reactions but I can't wait to check out your channel.

@@SwiftReactions well ms Swift I had a car wreck 2 years ago that broke my hip and pelvis left me bedridden, knocked the majority of my teeth out, and separated me from my wife of 22 years and 2 children because if you can’t walk you can’t work and if you can’t work you can’t pay a mortgage. So I’ve gained 70 pounds laying in a bed all this time and with my physical appearance and not really understanding every word I pronounce doesn’t help🤣. I Still have no clue how to attach a link to a video, I’m a dinosaur. But figuring it out one video at a time. The name of my channel is FILLING GAPS ma’am. When you take a working family man and take away the work and the family, that leaves a multitude of time and gaps that need to be filled daily and that’s where this channel comes in. Maybe check out the video Know Your Rights pt 2, you won’t believe what the police do to a soccer mom in that video!

Sounds like you have been through it. Good on you for trying something new though. Starting a channel is kinda terrifying and there is so much to learn. I'm still not great at most of this but I'm happy to help if you have any specific questions regarding editing etc. I have tried to search for your channel but it comes up with calking videos. It took ages before my channel started coming up in search. If you send me a link to your channel though I will check it out.

Yes, she did. NF addresses this in the songs Happy and Mama, which are on his new album Hope, which came out last year. She also chose a lover who abused her children over her kids.
