I really hate to burst your bubble but Stephen Hillenburg actually knew about the spin-off and it turned out that the whole "Stephen Hillenburg hates spin-off" phenomenon is actually just a misunderstanding. He never said that he don't want a spin-off, but he don't see spin-offs happening as if he had no expectations for it and if you look at his quotes from the 2009 interview, it all make sense. His opinions on spin-offs was already decade old so it's be possible that he would've changed his mind for a long time ago. I say that Kamp Koral is pretty decent. It's not as bad as what everyone made out to be but the whole "spin-off hating" thing turned out to be made by Reddit all along.

I wanted to like it, and even though I hated the animation, I liked the changes they made to the turtles designs(except Rafael, because hes just big and doesn't look right to me), and I liked the new villian and the new world of magic. But I watched the first episode and I hated the comedy and Rafael's character(Which sucks because Rafael has always been my favorite character in every iteration). Even though I do like some of the designs like April's, and I ended up loving a character ive never really cared all that much for, like donatello, who is my favorite character in the new series. And I liked the new world and character they introduced, I just couldn't get in to it. And the commercials looks so interesting, but I just have no real interest into sitting down and watching it because of my first impression

I'm so happy you brought up rise of the tmnt! I'm sad that the show doesn't get enough rep that it deserves. It's probably my most favorite cartoon, animation wise, as it's probably the best I have ever seen compared to other cartoon's. The story is also really good, and you don't need to learn much of the lore of older iterations to know any of the story (i know very very basic stuff about tmnt), as i could tell it's trying to make it's own seperated universe. I hope you review an episode from the show in the future!

I definitely love rise of the TMNT and hope it continues and eventually moves back to Nickelodeon someday soon. I'm glad that the Loud House is continuing as well, although last year's special "Kings of the Con" absolutely a horrible. To be honest I do sometimes watch Alvin and Chipmunks every now and then but course the show does have many flaws especially with some of the main characters lying in every single episode. Now ask for SpongeBob I do enjoy some of the newer episodes well some of the others I rather not re-watch. But I have to say I hope that the show ends sometime this decade before it starts to get stale like all other long-running shows, and also I really like to see Nickelodeon try to survive without depending on the little yellow Square. Now for all the other upcoming original shows I'm excited for, except for the Rugrats reboot and Camp Coral.

To me the Casagrandes (or however you spell it) is an unneeded show. It’s light the *same thing* as the Loud House. I love the comedy is actually clever and funny, they make jabs at real life and the old tmnt. The choice of making them still in training is amazing because it changes up the style from the other tmnt.

Personally I blame Doug Walker and his Rise of Tmnt review and enhancing people to hate on Rise of Tmnt and it leads the show being on Nicktoons. at least he praise the animation but he gives a poor and lazy analyzation of the four episodes. Problems with that review is that Doug Claims all of rise turtles are party dudes with clips of rise Leo says "Oh Yeah" or Donnie saying Rad or jazzed those are words can be used by literally anyone, even the turtles before rise it was makes them teenagers. In rise there was actual dialogue and interaction with the character that do gives each turtle variety of personalities, and giving them character arcs. And Doug makes up of Plot Hole about Mayhem trying to escape. I saw the first episode mayhem did tried to escape, twice. Doug saying Rise of Tmnt is taking the teen titans go route because rise didn't show it's backstory that frustrates me because the Original Teen titans cartoon didn't have a backstory of how they all meet be a team until season 5. the first episode "final exam" Teen Titans was just being Teens just like The turtles. When I analyze Rise of Tmnt I see the show takes the MCU Spiderman route because what Spiderman and Tmnt have in common is that their backstories repeatedly shown numerous of times in media the audience will known what happen. Doug don't even use alternative universe or different entities of tmnt either. There more I like to say if I know or have equipment to make the KZbin video.

icecream hero Some of the Adventure Time ones had potential to be their own things. Because they did in fact feel a lot more better in humor than what AT supposedly did. On another topic, I think it would make sense why you feel that Best Baddies and Someone Needs to Stop Aunt Phyllis were best since they both purely focused on black humor and cutaways the most without pulling something out their ass, and that is what they have in common. But in my opinion, I preferred the shorts that had potential for worldbuilding and interesting character dynamics which is why I enjoyed the Magic Children, Planet Panic, Tennis, Dinosaur Island Girl, Moosebox, and Universal Brawlers of the Universe shorts more.

icecream hero I knew what you meant, you always saying you hate Adventure Time being unpredictably stupid with slang like SHMOWZOW and designs with no substance or meaning like the Candy Kingdom and the wizards, while Family Guy and Teen Titans GO have better humor because their corny jokes actually go along with the plot and if they don’t, it just becomes its own 2 second story (if it doesn’t, then it’s something absurd like waffles). I find it quite odd that you think the humor in the shorts are lazily written and out of context because the comedy in most of my favorite shorts, it doesn’t really remind me of Adventure Time at all, I feel like some jokes go well with their story while others feel...uh. (Looking at you, Night Crew and Ziptronik)

I’m definitely excited to see what Nick does with Garfield. That’s such an original idea that I hope they don’t screw up but seeing how they brought back Hey Arnold, Rocko, and Zim hopefully it will keep its original charm? I think they really need more shows outside of henry danger they don't have sitcoms anymore. Thank the Lord its ending those kids are so old they can play the parents now. The only thing good they have is Spongebob. Back in the day they had tons of shows on at the same time. Loud House declined in quality if you ask me. The jokes got corrnier and the plots got cheesier. They started focusing on one sibling at a time. That sounds good in theory but on their own they ar kinda just sterotypes. You even have some siblings that barley interact dispite being related. I wish they would focus on two siblings at once rather than one at a time. Also I wish they tried harder to make the jokes more unpredictable while being realistic. It has the south park issue of every episode is one long drawn out joke.

One positive thing about New Nickelodeon is I know when to watch new episodes of the shows. The live action shows come on saturday night and the cartoons come on saturday morning. Unlike Cartoon Network where they dump there shows out randomly and you never even know if a show is still going or not. They should really bring back Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. When I'm in the mood for the Simpsons I know to turn on Fox on Sunday Night. Is We Bear Bears still going I don't even know?

Considering how nickelodeon treats their newer shows, i will always see it as the “short-lived experimentation” channel. It basically tries something new, and if it doesn’t live up to the “spongebob demographic” (basically the same amount of viewers that spongebob gets) it stops making new episodes of the show, moves the rest to it’s sister channel, nicktoons, and then wipescit off of the map, as if nothing ever happened. It’s still doing that to this day, and has been doing so for a very long time. A small time animation known as making fiends was bought off it’s rights by nick, it had a few episodes, the. Was given the movement treatment. Worst off, the creator of the show can’t even make anything even related to it anymore because nick still holds rights for it. Why they’re holding rights to a show they have no intention on progressing is beyond me. It’s sort of the same idealism of giving a vantriloquist a radio show, or something like that. It just sucks how nock doesn’t even give them a chance. The director seems likea power hungry kings that will eliminate anything that he doen’t deem as worthy. The only thing they show now is childish kind of shows, where the jokes are very blatant, and they have very little plot in their shows so the younger audience won’t get bored. Even shows that didn’t even start like that were forced into appealing for the more younger demographic. It just really sucks, because nick was really good, and appealed to all ages. Now it’s literally just a channel for toddlers and the very easily amused.

Well we can't talk about it right how average it is since KZbin removed all comments on any animated non explicitly adult oriented shows! Nickelodeon cartoon Network and Disney's KZbin channels all have their comments disabled. This includes clips from any and all independent channels who have clips whether altered or not of any animation including movies! Though there are some who have somehow avoided having their comments disabled which I'm curious about. It should be noted that outside of mondomedia's channel all channels that post happy tree friends has their comments disabled because it is a cartoon! Let that sink in!

Sponegbob turned 20 and was most talked about and it had a really great special, the rest was ok, I forgot that Alvinnn and the Chipmunks existed, excited for the new Rugrats, Garfield’s back baby, the spinoff we never asked for, and I think Netflix would buy Nickelodeon and turn everything they have to originals. Cartoon Network pretty much beaten Nick so hard in 2019 that they can do it twice next year with HBO Max

To me personal, Nick 2019 is just eh but though the Spongebob special and newer season were good, but The Loud House is just meh, Rise of TMNT is alright but I'm not interested seeing it, and The Casagrandes and chipmunk cartoon is well...I don't care for it. Excited for It's a Pony, but not the spongebob spin-off. Nick 2020 better be at least good and bring in more original cartoon...promising I can't keep.
