How do you feel about the neo-vintage movement?

I don't like artificial wear; much like the tears in brand new jeans it's just a waste if it'll look like that eventually anyways. However, going against Brendan saying if there's wear that he wants to be the one to put that wear on, I am all for buying used sneakers if you can't afford a crisp brand new pair at resale prices, as long as they aren't completely borked and falling apart, gotta get *some* life out of them at least.

Yea I'm not a fan of the neo-vintage movement, it maybe be the cool thing now, but everyone should not be trying to artificially distress their sneakers... Just wear them

I'm fine with yellowed midsoles. It's nice having white + cream/off white be equally valid options. I don't like intentional scuffs/tears for the most part.

That Delorean dunk was my first L at Pacsun because the lady in front of me got every pair in my size range, 9-10, 2 pairs for each size. I'll never forget it. Ended up finding a pretty beat pair on ebay for super cheap 3 years ago before prices got really bad. 🙌

I remember a guy did that with the Jordan countdown pack 11/12 back in 08. He got jumped outside in the parking lot so bad that he was put into a coma. Good times.

Great to hear about 6.0! Being a bmx kid back in those days, 6.0 was my shit! A lot of them I had got trashed years ago but i still got a couple pairs of Mavrk mids and Mogan mids with the strap. Haven’t brought em out in 10 years or so but still got a crispy pair of green suede Mavrk mid 2s I got in the nike outlet in the Bay area! Got some 6.0 dunks as well. Most of my dunks are either SB’s or just normal dunks though.

I still own a pair of 6.0 OnCore’s and they were the primary shoe I wore during my entire high school career. LOVE THEM. Very, very SB dunk-like. Thanks for bringing those up.
