The guy is saying nonsense. All that he's saying doesn't apply to anyone. Yes music cost money but if you get your budget right and spend right you will save cost as an independent Artist, don't let anybody scare you. Many labels are pushing this narration these days cos Artist don't find a need to get record deals again. Either they like it or not, record label will go into extinction with time. My own is be transparent to an Artist on your spending and don't sign an Artist with the intention to enslave them. Some of the labels will already made their investments and over 100% interest yet they will collect everything they gave an Artist when he's leaving, plus his masters. Striping the Artist naked except for his fame and face. But talented Artist still don't mind, they leave regardless and still succeed as an independent Artist. Record label should stop being greedy, time has evolved. And to upcoming Artist, pls learn to do alot of things or at least know about them so you don't get unnecessarily reaped off. @Lucky Udu, thanks for bringing this bro. Adios
