Years ago my local MGM stopped dealing 4 card PLO, its all 5 card now. I decided I’d rather just buy bundles of scratch off tickets so I love seeing the PLO hands

The J1097 hand, I would not have played any different. Just an unlucky hand to run into and bad runouts. Remins me of when I was playing PLO8 and ran nut flush/nut low into straight flush/nut low.

0:55 yeah, calling is terrible. You cannot put him on one specific hand, there are hands in his range that will call a river raise or even a shove, your only decision was how much to raise and how long to pause before doing it.

I actually like playing PLO, and watching it. It's a screwy game, but you have so many possibilities, it's fun, and occasionally really frustrating.

First hand you're only losing to J10 and that hand raises the turn at a high frequency. So many 2 pairs and sets that can call a raise. Jam seems a little bit too much, maybe raise to $1000?

1:30 you're terrible, yes. If we stack all other sets and there is only 1 straight, we absolutely must raise. In NLH, especially live, you will get called by lower sets and 2ps (like Q8 lol)
