Hey that was pretty good for a first timer! As someone whose played the flute from 3rd Grade till Senior Year in high school, you did well for first trying. It’s also one of those things where you just remember when you pick it back up. I can still play the Flute even after not playing in 15 years

I think one of the main reasons it sounded a bit odd at the beginning is because of the hole from the lip ring. when I started learning the flute I had to take out my tongue ring, still do in fact, and even then it took a hot minute to do something decent because the hole from the ring messed something up

You should try the saxophone next. I find it easier than flute personally.

Finally, some classical instruments. Try clarinet next, you can find cheap ones. I literally think the clarinet is (at least one of the) softest instruments in the world. But let me beg you in the name of Matrix almighty, do *NOT* use cheap reeds that come with cheap clarinets. You won't be able to play anything good on them. Get a couple of Vandorens. Also, if you're brave, you might try an oboe as well... *shudders*
