Thanks a lot! It's very motivating to hear that. At this stage I don't mind it too much as I'm still finding my style and I'm unable to spend too much time on the videos, but soon (towards the summer) I think it would be time to put in more time and grow a lot faster

Depends on the lottery in question. But in general I would guess income - (expenses + profit) = prize

But really 60% of the ticket sales as a prize is being generous to lotteries. Often it's worse. They are tax on stupid and desperate people.

This is not strictly true: many lotteries give you an annuity that will pay out over many years. In the US there are multi-state lotteries with multi-million dollar payouts (Power Ball is one), payouts that well exceed the price of all the tickets sold! If you bought all possible ticket you would be garonteed to win. If someone else also picked the winning numbers, then you would have to split the winnings, but if not you would win much more than you paid for the tickets! This isn’t an infinite money glitch because practically speaking it isn't possible to buy all possible tickets without an army of people coordinating on it.
