Noxus is what Roman republic could have been if it survived to this day. It has Trifarix like how Roman republic have Triarchy. Roman republic incorporate conquered nation and allowed them to join their army. Roman republic is a Meritocracy like Noxus. Swain's story mirror that of Caesar. Darkwil = Silla(Caesar mentor) the Black Rose = Senator of Rome Darius = Octavius. Leblanc = Cleopatra (Cleopatra was downfall of Caesar and his lover at the same time much like how Leblanc used to manipulate Swain by disguise herself and pretend to like him. The proof of their relationship? The voice line from Swain that said that he enjoy "Her flower")

The triumvirate was an informal alliance between 3 powerful Roman figures (Crassus, the richest man in Rome, Pompey, the most prestigious general at the time, Julius Caesar, the impoverished scion of one of the most ancient Roman families… who was meant to act as a balancing factor between the former 2… and would end up supplanting them both)

Boram Darkwill was supposed to be Grand General for a short time but he doesn't want to be replaced by the Black Rose much like Sulla turned republic into a dictatorship for a short time for his own personal glory. The Senate absolutely despises Sulla so they plot to use Ceasar as their puppet to overthrow Sulla much like how the Rose sees Darkwill as out of control so they plot to overthrow Darkwill by using Swain. And much like Sulla. Darkwill and Swain were close once. Swain used to view Darkwill as a great leader. Just like Ceasar used to admire Sulla before he turned against Sulla.

@Tulkash01 exactly what Darkwill doing (well maybe not but it's close enough) Darkwill purge old family and competition because the Rose manipulated him to do so. Old houses may be members of the black rose but like Ambessa said fly too close to the sun and it will burn you. In this case the old houses got too cocky, they tried to play Leblanc. But they will soon learn that no one can play the Pale lady much like no one can play with Patrician of Rome.

so the BR itself we believe dont want mord back, but it could be they want him back and want to control him?? hence leblanc gets elise to retreive the head of Sahn Uzul. but there is other motives the BR have but we dont know all of them. and swain etc dont care for mord, they werent alive in his time and most people of noxus dont know mord cause LB wipes their memory when she seals him with vlad. Urmm honestly I’d say start with videos or champions you’re interested in and then go from there. I have lots of lore in minutes on my KZbin, for most champions too :))

You can start by reading Realms of Runeterra to understand a little of the regions and timeline (remembering that after Arcane a lot will change in the canon). And there are still comics from Lux, Zed, Ashe and Katarina. And there is also the book Ruination that focuses on Camavor characters and the fall of the Blessed Isle. Then after that choose a region and read the stories of the champions you prefer. 😂😂😂😂
