Showers: when I was in my late 20s - 30s; when I worked a full time job plus worked horses 5-6 days a week; I sure did NEED to shower every day. Now that I’m 69 1/2, disabled from a type of stroke that is fatal 70% of the time (luckily a rarer type of stroke), am retired and still trying to learn to walk again, it’s fine if I shower every 2 or 3 days. So when “SHOULD people shower”? Depends. As you get older, you realize that “it depends” is frequently the “correct” answer.

@ameliarose473 ай бұрын
@@MaliUrumI haven't really heard anyone outside this comment section talking about the effects on skin, but I've heard that with hair if you wash it less frequently it stops getting as oily so if you get through the "awkward" phase of it being super greasy when you first start spacing out hair washings it gets progressively better and it's popular now to not wash hair every day. So if your feeling weird stems from a social stigma, don't. The hair is a fairly popular thing and I'm sure you'll be able to find info about it being better for skin too.

Barber here, TO NOT HAVE TO WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY DAY: stop washing your hair every day. When your hair is used to being washed every day, your hair/scalp can overcompensate and produce oils faster. For a month, wash your hair every 3-5 days, or go as long as you can. Don't wet your hair either- wetting without washing makes your hair look greasy because it surfaces the oils. Use dry shampoo if you must. Sweat coming from your head will most likely not smell- just be sure to wash your face and the rest of your body. (Ask a friend if you smell from not washing your hair.) I'm very confident that after this month you'll be able to go 2-3 days without washing it. Go 4-5 days here and there.

Dry shampoo can be dagerous if not washed right next day. I would say wash your scalp whenever it's oily. We have hormones and sometimes it can couse sebum overproduction. I would not advice anybody to just hold off from washing hair when it's visable that they need to be cleaned. And if the sebum production is sevire I would advice to go see your doctor. I wash my hair every single day, and they are fine with it ;)

That said, I did not have an actual shower with the splashing water et al for an entire year, and was absolutely fine. You can absolutely make it a judgement call when you need to do it or not.

to all the people saying "I live in a hot climate, I _do_ have to shower daily" great! you just confirmed that it is dependent on your personal needs! He didn't mention climate specifically, but if you are sweating a lot (like if you were exercising) then yeah you should probably shower. But If you live in a nice, mild climate or if you stay in air conditioning all day, you're probably safe to skip a day or two. Pretty sure the entire point of that segment was to dismiss the idea that _everyone_ everywhere needs to shower every day. Sometimes you do, like when you are living in a hot climate or are physically active every day. but the rest of us don't.

Showering daily helps you sleep good at night .. people who don't bath usually suffer from insomania and mentally weak..so showering daily and getting good sleep because of that is what makes a man successful

I choke when I brush my teeth too and my dentist recently recommended a sore throat numbing spray that they use during my appointments. I think salt can help as well. I try to use a small-headed toothbrush and brush in shorter durations throughout the day when I can. And always do the inside top last because nothing is happening after that 😂 I also like the Lumo lift for posture assistance. Instead of doing it for you, it just yells at you when your posture degrades and makes you do it yourself 😊

Washing hair really depends on type and texture. It’s not a one size fits all, some people need to wash hair often and others can go weeks.

Why do you feel itchy when you take a hot shower?
@shaheryarimran38913 жыл бұрын
@Wuxxy your wrong... the hot water can actually dry out the skin leading to itchy and dry skin. hot water stripes off the natural oils on your skin and without them your skin is no longer in a healthy condition. ESPECIALY if you take a hot shower many times a week......

I was wondering if you could do a whole video on eating disorders. I have one and I would like it to be talked about more because sometimes I feel very uncomfortable when I have to talk about it with people who don’t know much about them. I would like it if people knew more and could understand more about them
