I have no sympathy for these girls and “what they are going through”. My concern is for the people who have truly suffered from these crimes. I am talking about the students that did not get into the university because of them. They knew they were deceiving everyone and if they claim they didn’t know then they are more stupid than anyone could have imagined. It would definitely prove that their IQ does not meet the standards on a university level. The parents should confess to their crimes, take responsibility and teach their girls by showing them that if you commit a crime then be prepared to do the time.
@ClaiomSolis5 жыл бұрын
Did they really suffer? They could have applied to many other colleges.
@KawaiiyukihanaSmiles5 жыл бұрын
mirka narika Good question. Sadly they did. These kids dream about going to one specific school for years and they research the university to find out exactly what requirements they MUST have for their best chances of getting in. I recommend you search and check out when these students get their acceptance or denial letters. You can feel the absolute excitement and joy when they have been accepted and the pure heartbreak when they are denied. For these kids, getting into their DREAM college is a validation that their hard work, determination and their ethical and moral values does pay off. For example, if you work hard at your job by going the extra mile, overtime, weekends holidays...etc .You do this in hopes for an advance or a pay increase....and after all that you don’t get it. But your co-worker who hates their job and barely shows up to work gets the advance because this persons father is friends with the boss. Both of these situations are the same. You work hard towards a goal and expect to be rewarded for your efforts.

jamdad that sucks, he deserved it. Unfortunately, sometimes it could be the high school he went to. I heard that the colleges weigh differently based on high schools. If a student has a perfect gpa in a school full of Mexicans vs a student with good but not perfect grades in a school full of Asians, they’ll choose the one that had to compete against the Asians. This is what I heard throughout high school; not sure if it’s true.

@brigittewilliams20385 жыл бұрын
I wonder if her mom force her to go to college because she didn’t even want to go to usc in the first place or to school in general . There’s plenty of students that have that same mentality of not wanting to go to school to learn but just to tailgate and party the only difference is that their parents didn’t pay half a million to get them in .
@lindseysanders36565 жыл бұрын
bri williams I believe she wanted her to go to college because she didn’t go herself. It seems she was concerned of her own public persona, and having “ smart, well-rounded” daughters would give her a boost. It’s an extension of her own image. I believe that’s all she cares about. She had these lucrative acting deals and a family-friendly public image. I don’t include the father in my comment, but he’s equally responsible. Olivia Jade could have possibly gotten into a “ lesser” college and still achieved the same goals. It’s all about money, power, prestige, and puffing up of oneself in my opinion.

*You nailed it ET.* The caveat of being on camera or writing is that words can boomerang. I tend to keep a copy of what I say and where I say it. It helps to keep my life on message. Not flawless by any means, but very self aware. Anyway, thanks for refreshing the content of this scandal so well. There's other things going on in the news, like the NZ attacks, but this needs to stay foremost. It's inequity that drives some people to lash out, not in the NZ case, but others.

It’s stupid to bribe their way into these schools. Not everyone with a Harvard education becomes successful and not all college dropouts are failures in life. And by experience, it doesn’t matter what college you went to, once you’re in the job world. I had a coworker who graduated from ucberkley and she struggled so much in such a simple job; she ended up quitting within a few months. When she first got hired, everyone was so impressed with her UCB background, but she barely passed probation and training. Honestly, it changed the way I viewed correlations between colleges & the working world.
